Tops SSS-02 Street Scapel 2

Love TOPS have been following them for decade this was my first knife and after receiving it I ordered two other tops blades hands down some of the most durable knives I have seen the coating is great the thickness just right the handles are molded to your mits I have large hands being 6.2 and this is the best little buddy for good grip jobs. Scalpel sharp out the box and rusts the lest of all my other brands. Can’t tell it’s in ur pocket.

Fantastic edc fixed blade. Comes with scout straps i wear it horizontal on the belt in the back. It is light, doesn’t print when wearing, is comfortable to wear even when sitting, sharp, handle is great in hand and the micarta scales are fantastic.

Badass knife , small and easy to conceal. Built like a tank with tops quality and razor sharp.

This is my first fixed blade EDC knife and my first TOPS knife. The fit and finish gives it the appearance of a custom piece. Little things, like the red handle liners set it apart from most production knives. It's a small knife that can be used to open boxes or for self defense. And last but not least...the secure design makes it feels good in my hand!

This is a much lighter version compared to the original whose blade was much thicker. The handle contour allows for a stable and safe grip, the blade is very sharp and has good edge retention. The knife has a slim and discrete profile. The sheath is laid out for horizontal carry be it appendix, or small of back carry. For me it is unobtrusive, and comfortable in the SOB location and the handle is a bit out of proportion for me to carry in appendix carry. I think it is perfect for trail running, and can handle most of the little snags and hang ups that one may run across, and would most certainly be a valuable tool in an emergency. I only wish it had a “glass breaker” as the point is a bit thin.

Really liked the profile and with how often and quickly these would go out of stock I picked one up against my better judgment. It has a flat spot up top which seems like itd make this a good knife for whittling. The steel seems to prefer rougher finishes since it didn't perform as well with a mirror polish though that may be due to my technique. Since it's 1095 you'll need to oil this even in arid climates which I learned the hard way seeing how the laser engraved text exposed the steel in that area and got rust in there.

Changed out the straps for a fixed belt loop. great knife, razor sharp. Perfect for EDC.
