This watch is truly beautiful in person, but the pictures don’t quite capture its essence. However, there’s a slight discrepancy in some reviews. They mention a 28mm watch face, but you’ll actually receive a 26mm watch. So, it’s slightly smaller than what’s depicted in the other review pictures. Keep this in mind before making a purchase.Despite this minor issue, this watch is a true Citizen watch. It’s made of high-quality materials and has a tough, durable construction. It’s also beautiful and keeps accurate time. I highly recommend this watch if you’re looking for a reliable and stylish timepiece. Just be aware of the smaller watch face before you buy it.

I ended up returning this item because I received it as a gift. For that reason I still wanted to leave a review. The face of the watch is beautiful. I would have preferred it to be a tad bigger, but still prefer it more than the huge oversized watch faces. I really love that the eco drive aspect as I have grown tired of having to replace batteries. Overall this is a pretty watch that is not overly flashy. It is great for dress or casual. It comes with a lot of extra room, I removed 4 links and it then fit perfectly. Citizen always makes quality products, so expect it to last many years.

I love this watch. I wanted something classic, slightly feminine that would not make me itch & that was easy to use. This is made of stainless steel so I don't itch. It is easy to change the time. The date is a little tricker but I was able to fiddle with it & figure it out. I love that is is powered by light so I'll never need to change a battery. If you have small wrists it's a little big but you can take links out so that is negligible. The date is a little difficult to read if you don't have great vision but that's ok. I've got glasses that give me 20/25 vision so it just takes me moving it around a little to hit the light right. I love the mother of pearl face for that feminine touch. And I love that it is not super flashy. I've worn this pretty much every day for the last few months since I've gotten it. I haven't gotten it adjusted yet because life has been busy but it looks great. It will look better once the links are removed but it stays on my wrist so that's what matters. And it's simple design means it goes with almost everything.

I had a Citizen watch similar to this for YEARS (like, 10 years, for real) and I really loved it but I always wished it had a mother of pearl face. Also, I was sick of constantly getting the batteries replaced because I wore it all the time. When i learned about watches that don't need batteries replaced I was interested but I couldn't find one where I liked the way it looked, they were all too flashy for me. I also need something water proof because I barely ever take my watch off. I almost bought a men's watch but my wrists are pretty small. So when I found this small, simple, mother of pearl faced, eco-drive watch that is water resistant?!?!? I was thrilled. Happy early Mother's Day to me! I did have to have 5 links removed. I tried to do it myself (I even watched a YouTube video) but I was too difficult so my local jewelry store helped me out.

This was a gift for my wife. She's been telling me that she's wanted a new wristwatch for years now. She formerly worked in a jeweler's shop so she's a bit picky when it comes to things like watches. She wanted something that she knew would be easy to get repair parts for in the unlikely event that it ever had to be repaired. She's mentioned that brands like Citizen had readily available parts and were overall easy to repair by independent shops if needed, (though I expect no issues). She specifically said she didn't want a Fossil because her old Fossil watch failed and a jeweler couldn't repair it without sending it in to the manufacturer for in-house repair which was not worth the cost.She loves the watch. She told me that it was exactly what she was expecting. It has a distinctly feminine design and it's size is great for a petite frame. It's small, but not tiny and the face is clearly legible. The design would really fit in with nearly any situation. She wears it to work and out to dinner in the same day and it'll work with just about any look/outfit. I really like the mother-of-pearl watch face; it flashes some subtle blue/green colors when it hits the light right. The watch is stainless steel, so no precious metals but that helps keep the price down on an really nice looking watch. It's been running for the last 4 months and time has been dead-on so I expect it keeps time perfectly. The Eco-Drive feature is really nice; it's solar powered and recharges a lithium battery that never needs replacing.

Love this, I wear it almost every single day. It was easy to size to my wrist. Easy to get on and off. Comfortable and doesn't feel heavy on my wrist. The face is beautiful and the price was much better than retail places. My only concern is even after being placed in a windowsill for direct sunlight the hour and minute hands do not continue to glow for very long in the dark. I got this because my prior watch was not visible at night time. Not sure if it's a defect or just how the watch is. In the big scheme of things, it doesn't affect the overall function of the watch to not see at night unless that's your primary reason for getting this. I have never seen it loose time or stop working and I chose this because I was informed it has a very long lifespan. Who wants to buy a new watch every year? I don't want to.
