Food For Life Ezekiel 4:9 Organic Sprouted Grain Cereal - Almond - 16 oz

It not the best tasting but it's palable. It's a healthy cereal and it is good for you. I add sweetener (agave) helps with the taste. It is a hard cereal so let the milk sit on it for a while to soften it up.

I love this cereal for breakfast with a banana, light sprinkles of sugar and half n half. Yum! Wish it wasn't so expensive, but the bread is also.

I had this with 2% milk, usually alone but sometimes mixed with rolled oatsI have a complicated relationship with grape-nuts, they fall into that category of food which, based on its characteristics, I should like but for some reason don't. The flavor is okay, but the hardness is a hard sell. The pieces of this cereal are significantly larger and less dense. Not sweet, or barely sweet at least, and the almond contributes only a little to the flavor/texture.It tastes healthy, that's for sure, and I liked it enough to finish the whole box in a couple weeks. I'll try the other varieties as well, but this is expensive cereal so I say try looking for a sale if you can find one. If you like grape-nuts in flavor or concept, or other grain cereals, I would recommend getting it at try.

I have been eating this cereal along with the three other types from Ezekiel for about a year and feel so much better eating them without all the additives that go in regular cereal. I only eat cereal once or twice a week. I rotated with different breakfast items all equally healthy but I’m glad I can get my cereal in a healthy format, it is very good. I always eat it with some type of berries, Because blessedly, it is not loaded with sugar!!!

Best by date had already expired June 12 2025 and I received this in July. Terrible stale taste. And the system won't allow me a refund.

Just what it says - which is sadly hard to find. Just be aware that although it is Organic doesn't mean that there is no Glyphosate in the product. Wheat growers that are not Organic use Glyphosate to kill pests et al as well as to hasten the "maturation" of the wheat not quite ready, so they can get all their wheat to market all at once. Apparently the spraying of the herbicide gets carried through the air and to the Organic fields. Additionally, Organic doesn't have to mean 100%, but only 70% to be labeled "Organic".Glyphosate is not healthy for anyone, but many people get painful joints and muscles from the Glyphosate being embedded in them. When this happens you have to take a break from wheat until your body can rid you of the Glyphosate.I read that HHS is banning Glyphosate, but haven't heard that they have actually completed that task. Maybe because they haven't found anything to replace it with?Be that as it may, this straightforward Wheat Cereal it is the best, and the only one out there we have found.

After reading some of the negative reviews, I bought this cereal expecting it to taste like cardboard so I can experience what that tastes like and jump on that bandwagon warning others not to. I tend to self sabatoge myself. However, I really like this cereal. It doesn’t have the heavy sugary flavor of grape nuts. It’s actually as close to flavor free as you can get other than the real slices of almonds which is an amazing bonus. I tend to not add salt or sugar to anything so my taste buds are very sensitive and this passes the test. I like to soak them in unsweetened almond milk for a few minutes to get it soft because they’re rough and hard. Then it’s perfect and very filling. I’ll be buying these again though not too often because $8 for a very small box is too expensive for my food budget.

Came in a very crushed box. I was disappointed in flavor and texture.
