Bought these so that I could link the items togeter to make one long pole. Not possible because the linking pieces are too small for the poles. You have to hammer the pole into the link. You can do this for say three poles and then you can’t get enough force to drive the poles into the linking piece. So I then had to use two jubilee clips to join the next one with a parallel joint and so on. Even then the whole assembly drooped like a fly fishing rod - and this was only using about six or seven poles. Hopeless unfortunately.

This is no reflection on this item. What I can say is that they are fit for purpose and, if like others I have used in the past, ought to last a good few years - if not longer with careful use. i.e. not try to hammer them into ground that is concrete hard caused through drought ! However, delivery was excellent. The product turned up a couple of days within the delivery time together with another item that I had ordered from the same company but at a later date, unknowingly at the time of ordering I had ordered two items from the same company. Well done to them for matching both items and thus delivering both together as many companies are let down by delivery times.

Used to support a magnolia plant which has grown from 3ft to over 6ft in the last five years. It’s in an exposed position and subject to very high winds, particularly during Autumn/Winter, so requires some form of support.I have placed four supports to the circumference and used garden wire to hold them all together. Ideally the stakes could be thicker to provide more rigidity but they should be strong enough.Should be very strong if formed into frame and secured together at the tops.Would recommend and purchase again.

We use these Stakes throughout the year for supporting Netting over vegetables, fruit, and even the Gold Fish Pond where we ground off the side peaks and slip over a matching diameter Washer to support the netting, good value, sturdy, arrived well packaged.

Clearly made of a thinner steel than they were in "days gone by"you wont force these into clay ground without them folding but serve there purpose if you are careful.

I needed sturdy supports for herbaceous plants, these are exactly what I required, the right length allowed good submersion in the ground for 1 metre sized plants giving support against windy conditions. Being green, blend well - forget bamboo, these supports will give many years of use.

Easy to use to make a ring round a plant that needs support; shame there's no top bit to put a ring of rope round to help support; I had to tie rope around the top [There may be a separate thing for that, though]. Other than that, excellent.

Arrived well packaged and on time. The poles are more flimsy than I would have like and the connectors are very poor, any flex on the poles and the connectors split, they are useless as bean poles, I now use the poles as 4ft plant supports in the garden. I have bought good old bamboo poles for my beans!
