Crt-150 Reflectorized Cat Identification Tag

I like the idea of a simple tag I can write on, and it has a reflector, but the plastic chipped within a day of my pets playing together. Tyhe paper and the plastic were scratched-the paper was unreadable.

I only use safety collars for my cats, who in turn frequently lose their collars from getting hung up in bushes, etc.. I was tired of driving 45 miles to the nearest pet store to get new engraved ID tags. I found this tag at a local retailer really liked the reflector feature. It is very bright. I feel it adds a layer of safety if kitty gets in the street, and it helps me find my cats after dark. I would have given 5 stars, but I knocked one off because the clear cover is not waterproof. My cats manage to immerse their tag when drinking water which eventually causes water to work its way into the clear ID window. To work around this flaw, I use a fine point Sharpie to write my phone number on the back of the collar or I print an ID to fit inside the window on a laser printer (not inkjet). I cut it out and "laminate" it with clear shipping tape, (tape on front and back making sure to have a tape border all around the paper cutout to make it waterproof) and insert it inside the clear plastic snap on cover. The ring on the tag is the type of ring used for key rings, which makes it relatively easy to put on the collar and very secure once in place. I can no longer find this tag locally, so I am glad to have found an online source.
