American Apparel womens Cotton Spandex Sleeveless Tank Bodysuit

Love these bodysuits, they’re my favorite and decided to order a couple because I haven’t had them for a few years due to wear on my original ones. The quality is still there but whoaaaaa the sizing is off! I’m 5’1” / 100 lbs / 32 B and I ordered the small just because I didn’t want it to be crazy tight (I’m typically an xs / xxs / 0 in clothing) and I’m returning the small for a medium because of tight it was. It’s the same super flattering bodysuit but it was just sooooo small that it was actually uncomfortable. The medium should be perfect but if you’re figuring out sizing just size up! It’s such a tight fit regardless of the size that it’s not like it will be baggy on you, it’ll just give you a little extra wiggle room.

This bodysuit had been on my list for a while, and I finally decided to purchase it as a basic for the summer. I am SO glad I did. It’s a stretchy, durable cotton spandex (as expected from American Apparel), and can easily be dressed up and down. Flattering on any body type

Just received my replacement today & had to come type a review because I’m just so happy with it !! I originally ordered a small, and my semi-chunky self should have known better 🤦‍♀️ lol It was too tight. I weigh 120lbs & am 5’2. I thought it was super cute & knew the next size up would fit much better. Sure enough it does! (Medium) & was here in no time so that made me happy too. I love how it fits. You can pull on it to cover up more, over your bra, & pull on it down to make em pop more if you’d like too. I just love it. Definitely a satisfied customer.

I expected this to be the same style as the original but its not. The thong area is much thicker than the classic style which was thinner, instead its very thick and overall a smaller size. I ordered the same size I originally had and it did not fit right its too big and too thick not comfy enough. I orderd a large and I am generally a medium, and it was still too snug and tight. Not the same as the original style of these from a few yrs ago..

I absolutely love this bodysuit !! I'd been looking for one for a long time and couldn't find one that had the "look" that I wanted. The quality is very good. The only thing I noticed about the black bodysuit that I purchased ( I bought a white one too ) was that one of the straps was imperfect. Not a big deal as I'm sure no one else will notice. I was reading so many Reviews that suggested ordering a size up. I didn't do this. I weigh 124.00 and I'm 5"5". The medium fit me perfectly !! And I so happy about that as I noticed that there are no refunds since it is a thong. Overall, I'm very happy and I can't wait to wear them.

Love this body suit. It is opaque, soft, and stretchy. I have used it for goib. To work, going out, and even for yoga! I LOVE that this bodysuit does NOT have the snaps at the crotch, making it much more versatile and suitable for long waisted girls. Recommend.Edit: I bought two of these, one in red, one in navy, both in a size medium. The navy bodysuit is perfect and stretchy and easy to put on and take off. The red bodysuit is still nice and opaque, but not as stretchy and much smaller. I can still wear the red, but it seems like there is some inconsistency in sizing.

So I went up a size because all the reviews talked about how tiny it was. It was actually too big. I have a long torso but am a size xs-s. I got a medium. It fits like a medium! I only docked it a star because of the fact that there is absolutely no support in the top and since it is so low cut there is no type of bra you could really wear. The fabric was thin. Pretty standard for American Apparel.

I'm giving this 5 stars because the fact that it fit "somewhat small" is probably my own fault. If you have thicker/wider hips and larger breasts, I'd probably order a larger size over a smaller size. It's not SO stretchy. It cuts into my hips quite a bit, causing irritation after a while. I love the concept though and I'll probably continue to wear it and order another. It's great because it doesn't really matter how big your butt is because it's a thong. So small or large butt, it almost guaranteed to fit in the bootay department. Just gotta watch out for them hip and boob measurements because it'll get ya.
