Nice for beginning string ensembles
I teach violin and viola in a private studio and suddenly have two cello students in the mix. I use the Suzuki Method books, so these books were a great find to help me blend violins, viola and cello into a group setting for ensemble work. The books have the suzuki repertoire as well as additional fiddle tunes and mostly open string harmony parts at easy appropriate levels for relative beginners. I’m currently using volume 1, but have also purchased volume 2. Students range from go tell aunt rhody in book 1 to end of book 2

Good book for violin beginners
Bought this book for my kid's violin practice and this book gives detailed instructions on how to play violin. Along with the book it comes with a compact disk. This is really good book for violin beginners.

Finally!
Finally something written with adaptations for multiple levels that doesn’t progress too quickly. Gold mine. Thank you!

I love this book and CD
I love this book and CD. Great for a beginner who wants to know and experience the joy of playing along with others as the tracks are laid down for piano and also as a trio of string players. as well the book includes the bass and harmony parts so you can play all if you like to stretch yourself. It is easy and fun as well as challenging for the beginner.
