Hole not big enough but I have a fix
The hole was too small to fit around the plastic inlet tube. I even removed the washer. Would not fit. I took a dremel and widened the hole. The hole is metal so I used a large stone fitting. The wider the stone diameter the easier to keep the hole round. Be careful not too widen too much. Keep testing for fit. You want to be able to just get it on. Then push it up and the metal will grab the plastic. These tubes always come apart so a tight fit, that is hard to get off, is a good thing. Also, not quite visible by eye, the diameter gets slightly larger as you go up the tube. So even if you widened a little too much, it will tighten as you push it up. This was a 5 minute job with the dremel. This filer had a dramatic effect on the tank. Our bio filter’s magnetic spinner was clogging every 2-3 days from the moss balls shedding. The water flow would be just a trickle. The DGZZI filter keeps all that out and the water now runs full flow all the time. The DGZZI filter screen never clogs. Even though we had moss balls, we were getting high ammonia levels because the filter was not flowing fast enough. This filter removed the amount of maintenance significantly. The company should make the hole larger and offer several washers of different sizes to reduce the diameter. That would allow it to fit different sized plastic inlet tubes. That is why I gave it a 4 star and not a 5.

Sharp edges, unsafe for fish.
Bad construction quality on this one. If you zoom in on the first pic, you can make out that the edge of the end caps are rough. In person, they are feel pretty sharp and would definitely not trust my fish to rub against that edge. It’s going to take some filing and sanding before I put this in my tank. Pass on this one. Save yourself some trouble and get a different model instead.
