This is actually our second time purchasing these. My parents stole the first one! (Okay, I let them take it.) It makes a perfect nightlight in somewhere like a bathroom. The glow is bright enough that you can see what you're doing without turning a light on, but not so bright that it'll be distracting from outside the room. The slow color change is cool, and I find that the look is appropriately 'adult' that you can use it even if you don't have little critters running around the house (whereas something like an Iron Man nightlight might raise some eyebrows). These are produced cheap and en masse so you might get something slightly different in each package. All of the ones we have received have had a single mushroom, but I have heard that people have received versions of this product with two mushrooms. Ours all have varying number of leaves, and the one my parents stole has leaves that can be bent and arranged like the mushrooms, while the ones we have, the leaves have regular plastic stems that cannot be bent into place. One of the ones we received did have a weird brown smear on the white base/sensor plate. It wiped right off with water. Let's hope it was grease. For the cost, it is an amazing nightlight and very cool. Just realize that you are buying a cheap product and are rolling the dice a bit, this isn't like walking into Target and picking up something off the shelf. RIght now, we have one in the bathroom and one in the kitchen. If I needed another spot in our home lit at night, I would buy another package of these without hesitation.

I love them! The brightness is fine the materials are fine the quality is fine the color is fine what else can I say.

Love these nightlights. Needed better illumination for around the house without turning on all the big lights and the colors compliment the color green on my walls. Even put one in the bathroom. Perfect size for the outlet don’t take up too much space, and doesn’t feel too flimsy. Plug and play essentially super easy.

As others have mentioned, this nightlight throws off just the right amount of light for a bathroom at night. I think it's awesome that I don't have to blind myself anymore. Depending on how dark you like your bedroom, this nightlight MAY be a little too bright, but I imagine that this would be great for a kid who's afraid of the dark. I subtracted a star because one of my night lights didn't work initially. I ended up emailing back and forth with customer service (very helpful) and got it working. I would say that the detector is less of a motion detector and more of a light/dark detector. Like, I have one in my bathroom and it's active all night, even when no one is using it. But as soon as I turn on the bright overhead light it shuts off. Overall, a great value for the price, not mad at all, I love this night light in my bathroom.

Perfect for a house with two potty-training toddlers! Just the right amount of light, super pretty colors, and not too bright. I bought several packs so I can have one in my kids' room as a regular nightlight, and the rest line the halls and bathroom so they can see their way if they wake up. Also pretty easy to dust, the mushroom caps can pop right off and be run under water to clean - though if you have small kids who like putting things in their mouth these may not be for you!!!

I bought two of the night lights almost a year ago, and they are still working just as perfectly as before. They are not too bright, giving the right amount of ambience and comfort without irritating me while I try to sleep. They are very lovely, looking exactly as shown, and gently cycle through different colors. Each mushroom is a separate color as well. They are effectively light sensitive, with the sensor located on the bottom. If you place them in any dark space, they will light up, so even if you only want to illuminate a darkly lit area without turning off the light, you can do this. I have had some sitting in the dark which stay on constantly for months and they have not died out. If you want them to be on in a brighter area for some reason, you could simply block the sensor at the bottom with something and it will stay on. The mushrooms seem like they can be moved around a just a little bit since the stems are somewhat flexible, though I would not bend them too much. Good for if you want to spread them out a small bit, but you should probably not bend them at sharp angles or too strong of a curve, I would only recommend spreading them out a little, nothing more. The only issue I have had with these lights is that one of the mushroom caps came off of one when it had to be stored in a box and was moved around a lot. However, I found that it was easy to put it back on, so it was not actually broken.

The light isn’t bright enough, and the colors were kinda dull, definitely look into other lights if you’re going for that nature-ish look I. Your room because you will find this one ugly in a few days LOL.

I seen this at the vaca home we stayed at and I was like I gotta get on Amazon , I just know they’ll have it !! It works great ! It fits in perfect ! It’s good to have anywhere , you need a light . It’s a decent brightness ! And I love the fact is changes colors !!! Very happy with this ! Definitely will get more for the rest of the house :)
