Klymit Static V2 Sleeping Pad, Ultralight, (12% Lighter), Great for Camping, Hiking, Travel and Backpacking

This was unexpectedly comfortable to sleep on and it is also quick to inflate. I’ve been using this as a spare bed at home.

I tested this overnight inside with no one sleeping on it, and I am glad I did. Deflated by about 75%.The only good thing is that the Amazon return process is fairly straightforward, but now I do have to go out of my way to find a UPS return point.Would not recommend.

I have slept on this every night for 5 + months at home on carpeted floor, as I have a bad back & can't find a suitable mattress for my bed.It's almost mended my bad back, so I prefer to sleep on this on floor than risk a bad back in bed lol !!!!I have found this to be most comfortable as I tend to start sleeping on my side but always wake up on my back !Not only comfortable but is durable - not designed for everyday use but has been awesome so far.I sometimes find the valve a bit tempremental, but that is probably down to me and not a problem with the unit.All in all a Great mat and I am confident that it would make a good 2 or 3 season camping mat.I may take a look at the insulated version if my back behaves and I am able to get out camping again.

I bought this mat in 2017 and have been very happy with it: comfortable despite being incredibly small and lightweight. It finally developed a slow leak last week, so I contact Klymit as the storage bag mentions a limited lifetime guarantee. They got back to me after a few days and put me in touch with the UK supplier. They responded almost instantly, requested the purchase receipt and a picture of the mat, and with about ten minutes confirmed they were shipping a replacement! Amazing service, and makes the price of the mat a bargain. Highly recommended.

Lightweight, but... Half-marks for comfort (when tested indoors); gave none of the sideways (anti-roll) support I expected from the design; and offered no thermal protection. Might be ok for a 1-night fair-weather summer camping trip but not for a serious bikepacking expedition.

It was very comfy. But on the second time used the valve stopped working and it will not hold air. I would not reccomend this product.If I could I would get a refund and return immediately. Do not buy this.

First night out with it and the valve will not close. You can hear the air escaping and watch it deflate quickly. No amount of fiddling with the value will fix it. Absolutely garbage design that when you look closely at how it works you can see that it's obviously never going to be airtight.I did email the UK distributers and they sent me another valve. Thanks!Sadly, that replacement valve was an even worse fit than the original, not only does it not seal in air, when you try to close the cap the valve pops out.Staggering shame as the mat itself is comfortable but the valve design is just atrocious.
