It's a soap dispenser..
I got a laugh out of some of the reviews "there's no instructions, couldn't figure out how to install it!"... With a little mechanical investigation, it is real easy to figure out how to install it, took me about 15 seconds to sort it out.I do repairs on equipment, and get quite dirty in the process. Hand cleaners work OK, but I remembered this white powder from my childhood that really got stuff removed - Boraxo soap! Luckily, I found an old box of it somewhere, well, now I need a way to dispense it without making a mess. Stumbled across this seller and their soap dispenser. The price was right, figured I'd give it a whirl.Seem solidly built enough, stainless steel should be ideal for use around a sink and holding soap. Time will tell!

Love it. Takes patience to disassemble and install.
Used at the back porch sink. Works perfect of dispensing Borax poured from a box when one needs clean up after work. As mentioned, no instructions, so one has to kind of think about the mounting to the wall and the re-assembly. Still love this stainless steel product. should last 10 plus years if not a lifetime.

No way to mount it
The dispenser works great once you get it mounted. It comes with the screws to mount it but you don't have access to the top two holes for inserting screws into wall behind dispenser. Tried contacting the seller, no response.

Excellent Product, Lacking Instructions
This is a great dispenser for Boraxo hand soap. It delivers a uniform amount of product with each push, so you can control how much you dispense by how many times you push the handle. I use one push when lightly soiled, two pushes for most times, and three pushes for very dirty/oily hands.I took away a star for the lack of instruction paperwork/information for this product. You have to disassemble the unit to access the two upper mounting points. To do this you have to open the lid (using the hex key shipped with the unit) to twist the fastener in the center of the lid. With the lid open, you can see the hinge pin and a flat spring that presses in a reduced diameter section in the center of the pin. Push the spring away from the pin and push the pin to one side. Once the spring can no longer retain the hinge pin, you can remove it out one side and lift off the lid. With the pin removed, the main body of the unit can be removed from the mounting bracket. Mount the bracket to the wall using the enclosed screws. I used a spacer between the bracket and the wall to give me more room for my hand while dispensing soap. Replace the unit in the bracket by engaging the tab in the lower slot and replacing the pin to hold the lid and bracket together, making sure that the spring engages the pin to retain it.The unit has excellent fit and finish. It works very well, and I highly recommend it. I just wish it came with instructions.

Great for Boraxo soap.
My wife and I saw a similar Boraxo soap dispenser in a popular restaurant (Teds) and thought it would be awesome to install one at home. Saw this one on Amazon, arrived on time and in great shape! I had to remove the top lid by pushing the pin out so I could get to the screws behind the unit...put it back together, added some Boraxo soap - perfect! Would buy again!

Sometimes the old is still the best
Tried a lot of new cleaners and dispensers, was happy to get this good old fashion Boraxo dispenser and the people are happy with it. Fortunately on line you can find how to disassemble to mount bracket, then it is easy. would be nice if they threw in a simple instructions on a piece of paper. That would make it ideal.

How do you mount this dispenser?
I like this dispenser except for the fact that I see no way to mount it, It came with three screws for mounting but two of the mounting holes are behind the body of the dispenser. How in the hell do you mount the damn thing? If anybody knows I wish they would clue me in.

Boraxo at your fingertips
Nice big powder handsoap dispenser for the laundry room. Kind of expensive but we expect it to last for years. Glad I read the reviews so we could figure out how to install it since there were no directions.
