The Xocet 35 Backpack by Snugpak has received rave reviews. It has a lot of great features that many will like and appreciate. There is a roomy main compartment for your gear with a Hydration system sleeve and an outlet port through the top to run the drinking tube. The main compartment has an organization system to help store and arrange various items. In addition, there is a zippered storage pocket for those items you want to keep secure and accessible. There is also a front storage pocket to conveniently put items that are needed at a moments notice. Both sides have a mesh pocket with bungee cord tensioning for items such as water bottles and clothing. Lastly the Xocet 35 has 5 rows of MOLLE webbing on the pack to allow the user to add MOLLE compatible system pouches they might need such as utility, accessory, ammo, radio, etc.

Overall Sub-Par backpack
This is an inexpensive light backpack. The material is a little on the light side, which means, well, it's light, but not exactly heavy duty stuff.Externally, it's a nice generous main compartment size and a nice overall shape. There's a large flat space on the outside with PALS webbing to mount accessories (which is really why I wanted it). The bottom has two full rows of webbing for additional mounting. And that's about where the good points end.Stitching all around is OK.The side mesh pockets are useless. These are then made worse by the fact that they're cinched up at the top with elastic cords which I guarantee will be the first thing to wear out on this backpack, after which the side mesh pockets will be beyond useless. They'll be a liability. I would have preferred more webbing on the side. The straps have a conventional stitch/attachment point, but they're positioned at an awkward angle both horizontally and vertically, so at least for me, the straps pinch a little at the neck and the whole bag hangs kind of weird. And I'm not exactly a big guy, so you big guys may really not like this one. There's a main compartment with a divider to hang a hydration pack. Then the outer flap has another large pocket. However due to the light construction of the backpack, I wouldn't put anything with sharp edges in either of these pockets as it will probably wear through pretty quickly. That quickly renders the outer flap pocket useless for anything except maybe papers, a tablet, or soft goods. The internal small accessory organization is practically nonexistent. There are small unzippered pouches on the top inside flap of the main compartment which are completely useless (because they're unzippered and on the flap). You can remedy this by buying some additonal pouches/accessories to help organize things, but after all is said and done, you will have probably spent just as much as you would have going for a more expensive backpack.I would say stay away from this backpack unless you really know what you want. It's a nice overall shape, but the pouches and organization are a mess. If I were to do this again, I would opt for the 5.11 Rush 12, which is slightly smaller and more expensive, but a much better backpack in almost all other categories.

Good size, durable and strong
Good size, durable and strong.But.....The most annoying thing is that the straps that go over your shoulder aren't stitched at the top.So over time.. And mean literally an hour of wearing... They loosen and the bag ends up hanging down to low, making it uncomfortable.I couldn't deal with this, so bought a new bag.Shame, cos if the straps were stitched in, I'd still be using it now, and probably for many years

Brilliant
Great, spacious and it's bang on the size of a cabin luggage for most airways. Highly recommend to everyone not important whether it's for hiking, bike trips, school or else. Brilliant rucksack.
