Still a great magazine - worth the price if you're a pro or budding bassist
I have been a reader and subscriber to BassPlayer since their first issue and I was an early adopter to the digital version about 6 or 7 years ago. It's consistently good quality in it's content and presentation and the magazine itself reads well on my Amazon and Apple tablets

Excellent Magazine-Subscription Service Could Be Better!
I love the magazine and it covers all of what I expected to see. What I didn't like........I asked for a start date since the magazine says we won't get our first issue for 5-6 weeks, and they always send 2 magazines at the beginning. I specifically asked for one. This really bugs me because I received December's issue in January and January's issue in January, when they usually send February's issue in January so we get the latest and greatest. In my opinion, this is why we get a better price.

Very convenient although...
the texture of the pages aren't very defined. It looks like scanned pages rather than publishing directly from the source.

It's ok, not great.
Ok, this is a pretty thin magazine that is mostly full of ads... so pretty much like most magazines these days. There is usually only 1 article per magazine that I am interested in reading, and the tabs in the back of the magazine usually don't interest me.That said, it is nice to see soo many ads in one place, it kind of keeps you up to date on new guitars / amps / pedals / and generally the state of the bass market today.This is not worth buying for the actual content, as there isn't much of it in my opinion. Only buy this if it is very cheap.

Feel like a real bass player
There's nothing that makes me really feel like a bass player than letting the unread monthly copies of this magazine pile up on the table, alternating with the other magazines I take in.
