Fluke 9040 3 Phase Rotation Indicator

Works like a charm!! If there are any misordered phases this will tell you in a matter of seconds. Just make sure to be wearing the proper PPE!

I work on lots of machines and this tool is worth every dollar spent I always check rotation before I disconnect Mach so when I move Mach and reconnect it’s a guarantee I get rotation correct

Worth the price to get the digital fluke meter in my opinion.. this one always worked correct when i have used it to install generators.

I previously had a phase rotation meter, but it was a cheaper one. I was on a job and I needed one ASAP and it was all I could get in short notice. I had planned to get a better once when I had an opportunity and Fluke is my go to for meters and equipment like this.I purchased this one and mostly use it when commissioning industrial power delivery equipment and I have to check rotation when the customer energizes their new equipment. I also use it alot when the customer is also tying in a generator and we need to make sure the generator is wired in the same rotation as the utility.These phase rotation meters are about as simple as it gets. Just connect the 3 wires to the proper A, B, and C phases and it gives you your rotation reading.I have not had any issues what so ever and this is what I expect from Fluke. They have never let me down and I highly trust them.

Simple and all you would expect from Fluke. I purchased it to replace the one that was stolen along with my travel toolbox. If you need a phase rotation meter, I recommend this one. I use different leads, but it gets the job done quickly.
