This chair is huge
This chair is very large. It is pretty high from the floor, so if you're short, think about it twice. It's beautiful looking. The chair is very comfortable. If you're tall and wide, give it a try.A common complaint that Lane needs to work on is the recliner handle. It's too short and difficult to reach, at least for me. I need an extender. Also, the handle tends to work more easily after repeated uses.On the plus side, I bought this chair through the Amazon warehouse. Always trust them. I got an incredible bargain on this brand new chair. The delivery of this chair was outstanding. It came through an overland shipping company and was handed over to a local storage and moving company. They worked with me on a delivery time, and even helped unpack the chair and remove the boxing. I couldn't have asked for anything better. A great experience.

You Get What You Pay For
A very well-made, extra-large, very sturdy chair. It is extra large -- I'm 6"3" and my feet are off the ground when I sit upright. Reclining in the chair is divine. The foam cushioning is really plush and supportive. There are less expensive chairs out there, but if you are looking for a lifetime recliner this may be it. This is not a powered-recliner, and does require some muscle power to move up and down. For that reason, the handle extension is highly recommended.

great chair but delivery left a lot to be desired
the reviews are correct - this chair is HUGE!! I am 5'11" and my feet barely touch the floor! But is is comfortable, very good support for my legs when reclined in the sitting up position - although I also have to agree the lever for the footrest is very difficult to move. I am hoping it will get easier as time goes on.the downside of this was the delivery. It was sent via freight with one driver and the chair on a palette. The chair is heavy - about 170 lbs and the delivery person was unable to move the chair much less get it in the house. He and my husband got the chair wrestled up on the sidewalk and then the driver just left it there - and left the palette in the street! I have fibromyalgia and my husband is 69 and has arthritis - how the delivery service ever expected us to get it in the house I don't know - but he left it there...oh, did I mention it had started to rain??We unboxed it and managed to somehow get it in the house - trying to put the back on was crazy - the directions were useless, thank goodness my husband had the tools (a clamp) and patience to put the back on - you definately need two people for that!but the chair is a dream to sit in - very happy with it, but won't be buying any more furniture from Amazon in the future!

Defective upon arrival
Chair back would not fit on base. The bolts in each side of the back were spaced differently so there was no way to make both sides fit in the metal brackets of the base. Also, there were no pre-drilled holes for knob bolts that are supposed to secure the back to the base once you get the chair-back frame bolts into base brackets (which was not possible anyway as described above). I called Lane customer support and emailed them and they did not reply. I returned the chair.

Comfortable chair
The good; big, sturdy, comfortable chair. The bad; not Lanes fault, but delivery is terrible. The placed it in front of my porch, and told me they wouldn't even take it out of the box. Even though they have an option for Entryway delivery. Amazon customer service was no help regarding this. Just be prepared to have help getting it inside your home.

Sturdy and comfortable
Delivered today and love it so far. The delivery service was great. Chair traveled from Tennessee to New York and looks like a local delivery. Chair is sturdy and comfortable. Put together back to bottom with ease. The lever seems a bit cheap and hope it lasts but everything else is great.

Not worth bother
Definitely hard to recline in. Handle extender a must. Hope it will wear in.Head rest uncomfortable but getting better.Delivery was awful. I will not buy a recliner again through Amazon.

Good reliable chair
The assembly is tricky but not as difficult as some have made out. The seat is much taller from the ground than my last comfort king, which makes sitting down less of a chore. I'm 6'5 and stretched out in reclining mode, my feet don't clear the end of the seat. A good, comfortable, and sturdy chair I hope will last almost a decade like my last one.
