I was impressed by this knife set that a crew member had on her belt so much I had to buy one for myself.Good quality steel and a high quality sheath completes the bargain. Retains its sharpness and doesn’t stain or rust like some far eastern knives. It might cost a bit but it’s worth it.

Got the knife two days ago so his is initial impression. Knives are tools of which I have many for different jobs. This is a working knife on a blue water sailboat. I like a fixed blade for day long work. This knife comes nicely packaged. Not a big deal but an indicator of how they view there own product. Sheath is fairly heavy leather. The marlin spike is good quality and fits very tight in sheath. That may mean the sheath will wear quickly, we shall see. The blade itself appears well made and finished. Came shaving sharp out of the box. Usually I have to at least strop a knife to get a new one that sharp but not this one. The handle is functional. One that is slightly thicker would fit my hand better but I can comfortably work heavy cuts with it. If I was cutting all day I would probably wear my sailing gloves anyway. The brand knives I have many of is Helle. Beautiful and functional hard working knives that are in a higher price range. This knife is different of course but initial impression is it looks to be of similar quality though different design and build. I will update after it has some miles on it. I will then know how well it holds an edge. For the price first impression and use is good. I am optimistic that it will prove a good tool.
