I'm so happy I got all 4 of Simon Fischer Books. 1-The Basic, 2- The Violin Lesson, 3- Practice & 4- Scales. The books compliment each other, regardless of your learning level. I'm a beginner violin student. So far it has helped me finally begin to understand the bow hold. These books will help tremendously for those who are serious about learning the violin and or self teaching, to build a solid foundation along the journey of learning the violin. Fischer does a wonderful job of explaining in simple details with lots of photos to demonstrate. Thank You Simon for accomplished works. I highly recommend all of his books👍🏾

Galamian tells u what is right to do in the true spirit of modern violin pedagogy. Succinctly. Simon’s book shows many examples from simple and very advanced violin literature and basic ways to surmount the technical, musical aspects and then put them together. Best shaken with a great teacher, not stirred without a teacher!

A good book is damaged. Maybe during transport? i don't know. What a shame.
