Brand New, Perfect condition
I received my book within the specified time. It was in perfect condition. I will definitely order more books when I need them for school. The textbook is for a required course in nursing school. It is very informative, and I have passed my tests by reading my book. The book is easy to read, and it is not too "wordy." Hopefully, this book will teach me to become an effective leader.

textbook
It came after the estimated date which was too late for my class. By the time I got the book, my teacher had already gone through the entire book. I didn't get to read the textbook until all the lecture was done. But the book was in very good shape!!

Decent Book
This book has some good points and the layout is easy to follow. It covers all the essentials, and has good examples of its content. Charts and diagrams are straightforward and help to sum up the information covered. However, I thought this book was redundant when added into a nursing education program. The content of nurse leadership is not complex enough to warrant having a book to read on top of class time. This book was also very simple and did not help me actually perform better on our class' challenging NCLEX style exam. This says to me that it will really not help with the actual NCLEX. Overall, it is a decent book that is well written and laid out, but the subject matter did not encourage critical thinking or problem solving. One final thought. There were no NCLEX style questions in the book. Not sure what they were thinking by omitting those as they would have been helpful.

Just as the title says..
Its a pretty good read, but if you are born with common sense, then you could probably breeze through this one. There are facts tho that might come in handy to know (leadership styles, etc) when it comes to taking a Leadership course.

Its ok, but information is outdated and redundant, blatant spelling/grammar issues
The book itself is laid out ok. The information seems pretty dated (it needs revision) compared to the current job market (applications going online only, as well as job networking). There is also a lot of information that tends to be covered in other classes, like ethics/legal concerns and the history of nursing. I could understand if this book got more in depth, but it doesnt. There are also quite a few spelling mistakes.Overall the book just doesn't seem useful. It seems to assume you've never had a job before. The few bits of good information could have been taught in class without the book easily.

Required reading
Well organized with section headings. Not terribly interesting but required and not a bad read.
