Yes, it’s a molecularly distilled ethyl ester product. Only low strength minimally processed fish oils are in the natural triglyceride form. The vast majority of fish oils on the market have been molecularly distilled and had their ratios of fatty acids manipulated to concentrate the EPA and DHA. Most fish oils that claim to be triglyceride form are actually synthetically reconverted into a partial triglyceride form after molecular distillation into an ethyl ester form.

How are you guys able to get a very high amount of dha per capsule if the regular dha amountis around 250 - 500 mg per capsule?

If we reconverted a concentrated fish oil into an rTG triglyceride form it would dilute the oil by at least 20%, reducing the DHA strength significantly. Triglycerides are stripped from the oil during digestion and only free form fatty acids are absorbed; so we must convert them to the triglyceride form internally whether we ingest a natural triglyceride form, a reconverted triglyceride form, or an esterified ethyl ester form.

Does it contain any EPA?

No, the "Supplement Facts" label only lists DHA. The "Now" DHA-500 contains both EPA (250mg) & DHA (500mg)
