These loops are made well and hold up to being roughed up. Easy to attach and use.

Installation is straightforward. Attached them to my rifle’s existing studs and clipped on my sling. The swivels rotate without binding, and I like that they feel solid under load, even when moving quickly. The Tri-Lock mechanism makes me feel confident carrying my rifle over rough terrain.

Going to be bringing my expensive competition rifle on a hunt so I needed a way to mount a sling. Read reviews on a bunch of these sling swivels. Most are made in China (this one probably is too, but it's not marked). Some of the cheaper ones users complain that the pin breaks. I can't have that. Uncle Mike's is popular, but their screw head is now made of plastic. Yikes! So I figured Detroit Leather makes slings and they probably sell these with them. I'm guessing they've been tested by a lot of their customers. They're an actual US business with their own web site so it's not somebody who bought 1000 cheap ones off alibaba and is selling them on Amazon. Initial look shows nicely machined cross hatching on the screw, a thick fork and pin, and the screw won't turn unless you pull on it for safety. It's not going to rub against your coat and come undone. The pin fully seats into the forks, and the base hole is squared off instead of angled which should give more swivel room and put less pressure on the pin. 4 stars for now as an initial view. I'll update after it's mounted and I use it on the hunt.
