For a beautiful finish without the fuss, go Danish Oil
We've used Tung oil for years on our new furniture builds, but decided to try Danish Oil. Well, after our 1st use 20 some years ago we never looked back. Watco products are high quality, especially their stain/Danish oil combination. It leaves a rich color, and smooth hand-rubbed finish just as they advertise. We highly recommend this product.

Expectations too high?
Just me but did not make wood pop like I thought would.

Watco is always great, this color really "wows" with my walnut table
I wanted to use danish oil underneath a poly finish. I always turn to Watco.I also wanted to assure a more consistent color across some varying grains, and to lessen the fading over the years of walnut. So, here is Watco dark walnut. It does just what I needed.I considered the lighter walnut color, yet opted for the darker, and it was the correct choice.

Beautiful color, quick drying time
This provided exactly the kind of finish I was after. A nice, clean matte. Rich color.

Easy to use and easy to touch up if necessary
Depending on what I am building, I either spray varnish, or shellac and then varnish over top. Or, if I want a subdued finish that mimics a hand rubbed wax look I always turn to Danish oil. It is easy to touch up when and if there are wear marks like sliding your clock radio around on the top of the end table. Just use some 0000 steel wool and flood the top rub it in with the steel wool for 15 minutes or so and let set another 15 minutes and then wipe off excess and let fully dry over night. Could not be easier.

I saw this on a channel I watch.
I'm told this is the product hand rubbed in MANY layers on those English big game rifles and such things NOBODY can afford. Have you seen that wood? This amount will go a LONG way and I have a project I'd like to really look good. It's Watco. It's Rustoleum. I trust both of them and especially that repair channel I watch. A no-worry choice for me.

Love this oil.
I've used this on my trim work and on a table I built. Love this product, it brings out the grain beautifully.
