I tried to find a Nikon original but no luck. Was nervous about plugging this into my rather expensive camera but I have to say it's brilliant.I often do tethered shooting for wildlife so not having to worry about battery life is great. Decent long leads too make it a real winner.

Looks and feels the same as the OEM unit but at a fraction of the cost. Was initially hesitant at getting something at that price and getting it to power my Nikon but after reading the specification and checking it over I can safely say that it works exactly as the OEM unit. I do a lot of continuous video filming which eats the battery even with a second battery in the grip but this has now taken the pressure off when doing a long 2 hour recording when normally the little red low battery icon would appear.

Works fine with my D750, bought to enable use of the camera as a webcam since my built in one is dying. Provides a solid power source, I've had it run for several hours in live view mode without any issues. Doesn't seem to heat up significantly either which is great.Obviously this does tie you to a mains socket, so it's not portable power but that's what you're expecting, I assume!I've been using it for a few months now with no issues.

I wanted to use my DLSR as a webcam (lockdown > more Zoom'ing > wanted to use my Nikon DSLR as a webcam). This product means I don't have to change the Nikon batteries every 2-3 hours mid-meeting. Works well, no issues, great product. Thanks!

This works great with my Nikon Z6. I record a lot of video over longer periods of time and I don't get enough power from standard Nikon battery - this solves that problem. I had no overheating issues even after running the camera continuously for over 4 hours.

Created a low level hum on the recording. Manufacturer unable to suggest a solution. I wouldn't recommend, better off with original equipment batteries which is what I did.

Used to record video for several hours on end, no problems, does exactly what it says. One thing I would say is that maybe the power cable cable is a little bit too short, but it's a standard 8-shape power cable so easy to get longer ones.

Use this to power Nikon D800 camera while doing macro stacking. Works a treat. Great value for money.
