Battery was ready for use out of the packaging. Used it twice since purchase and had to charge after 2nd time out.

Ordered May 25, delivered on May 30 (including Memorial Day weekend).I ordered this to replace the battery in my Skycaddie SGX/W, which lasted almost 4 years before charging problems.The replacement battery mfd by Cameron Sino fit perfectly, and came almost fully charged. Be careful to orient the plug correctly, as it will insert either way (the plug has no "key", so note the color order of the 4 wires).The 3 screws holding the back on requires a size TT8 tamper proof socket wrench, which cost less than $3 at a local big box home improvement store.The original battery is secured with double sided tape. Removal wasn't difficult, carefully using a flat bladed screwdriver.It took far longer to write this review than to remove and install the battery.Great price, saved me ~ $30 and took no longer than ordering a replacement battery from Skygolf.I'm very happy. Will update later to tell how the charging/battery life compares. I charged the original battery after every round, as Skygolf recommends. I intend to leave the unit on until the battery fully discharges the first few times I use it.

Easy to change and worked perfectly

Installed myself in a Skycaddie SGX. Installation was piece of cake- 2 min tops- once you figure out how to get the SGX case open. I also ordered Tork tamper-proof screwdrivers from Amazon to get this open. The set was right around 15 bucks. They must be "tamper-proof" screwdrivers so be aware that regular star-pointed screwdrivers wont work. The "tamper-proof" kind have a small hole in the middle. So if you don't have a set, you will need them to open the case. I can't remember what size I used I used but I want it was a T8 if that helps. The set I bought had T6, T7, T8 and T10 so now I can get into anything. Ordering the set is not much either, so play it safe on the size of the Tork screwdriver.As for battery charge and battery life....seemed to take the charge just fine. My old one would not. And stayed powered on all night. Have not used it on the course so I will try to update after I do.So far so great!

Packaging looked good and it was easy enough to install with the proper tool to open the Sky Caddy. The problem is after the installation and first use, I was able to get 2 rounds with one charge but after that first time I could only get 1.5 rounds only! My friend has his original sky caddy and he gets 2 rounds with one charge!

I think battery was ok

New battery has a higher mAh rating: 2000 vs 1800. New battery was well packaged. New battery seems brighter and faster than original battery. Check out U-Tube for replacement instructions. Check out Tekton precision Tool Kit which includes pentalobe bits and a spudger pry tool. (Doesn't everyone have a spudger?) Summary: Well satisfied!

Fit great and has double the power of the original.

Exact match for original battery with a slightly improved capacity. No issues in installing and charging. Connection matches original battery. Have not used while playing golf as season has ended in Alberta. Have checked a couple of times and battery appears to be holding charge while not in use, which the old one was not doing at time of replacement.
