Excellent option for 3rd party replacement cable (Sennheiser 660S)
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was pretty skeptical at first to buy a 3rd party cable after my OEM stopped functioning, but this has surpassed my expectations to say the least. Works perfect for my Sennheiser 660S headphones. Appears to be identical and haven't had any issues in almost a year since purchasing. Value for money:Considering the OEM was over $100, this was a super cheap option to at least try and see if it worked. So far so good after almost a year. Highly recommend

Works well
The cable connectors are good and easy to plug in to my HD600 headset. Cable is heavier than the original one, and is the same length. They are the same length as the original when holding them side-by-side. The cable is round and heavier than the original flat cable. The original is not as sturdy and was damaged.I bought this unit because I wanted a 1/4-inch connector to go into my receiver without having to use an adapter. My receiver(s) have 1/4 inch plug sockets. I did not want to have to upsize from the tiny connectors commonly used for computers and small devices. Adapters make it stick out and subject to damage. I could always downsize the cable with an adapter for 1/8-inch devices is needed, but honestly, why would I use the HD600 with a laptop or something. Probably my Grado SR60 headset is more suitable for other purposes. The sound is excellent using the HD600 headphone with the new cables and my Sansui G-8000 receiver to play vinyl records on the Phillips 212 turntable with a good cartridge. Good kit, IMO. I don't expect the cable to have much influence on the sound, but the connectors are good quality, which is most important to me.

Works on HD58X
Works on the Massdrop HD 58X Jubilee headphones. I wish the cable was shorter and had a 3.5mm plug. Sennheiser doesn't seem to stock the shorter Apogee cable very often so this one will have to do since I want an actual Sennheiser cable. The official cable for the HD 600 would work as well, and has a 3.5mm plug, but it is almost twice the price when it is in stock.

Great replacement cable for HD580's
I've had some Sennheiser HD580's that I purchased used several years ago. I have absolutely love those cans, but over time one of the channels began to cut out depending on how I moved. I tried a number of different things to deal with it, but finally decided I'd need to replace the cable. I came across this on Amazon, and bought them. They fit perfectly in the HD580's, though the plugs are not color-coded (red/blue) like the plugs on the stock 580 cable. No big deal, they are still marked--and people may actually prefer the black as its a little bit more low key. The other difference of note is that the jack is 1/4", not 1/8" with an adapter. The original cable on the 580 had a 1/8" plug that had an adapter to seamlessly make it 1/4". This new one does not have that. I need to have an aftermarket adapter when I need to use a 1/8" jack. It's markedly less elegant than the original cable in that regard. I deducted a star for this reason. Overall, it functions perfectly, and I have had no problems with it in the more than 6 months I've been using it. If you need a replacement cable and don't want to spend ~$150 for an aftermarket cable, this is a great choice!

Good Alternative To Brand
Basically the same as the name brand you would get from Senheisser. The only thing I noticed was that the sound was slightly more metallic when just going plug in play, but I easily tweaked it to sound the same. I also run a Scarlet 3 so that could be the cause of the difference, but it’s a small price for something that’s been on back order for a hot minutes.

Just... don't do it.
I am not normally one to write negative reviews, on ANYTHING, let alone products. I'm a very, very, very forgiving, patient person. With that said.Don't buy it. For the love of all that is holy, do not buy this cable. I'm begging you.The right side started cutting out within under a year of owning it. Oh well... eventually, after messing with the cable a bit, I found a VERY specific position where, if it stayed in that position, it would continue working without much trouble. So, got a zip-tie, tied it in such a way that it would stay in that position, and now it works OK. Great.Fast forward another few months, to just a few hours ago.Left side starts going out.The kicker? This is the second one of these replacement cables I've ordered. This is the THIRD. CABLE. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME. THIS CABLE. HAS STARTED HAVING THIS ISSUE. WITHIN LESS THAN A YEAR. THEY HAVE ALL DIED. IN THIS EXACT SAME WAY. IN THIS EXACT SAME TIMEFRAME.Also, as a side note, I take very good care of the cables, in fact they hardly ever even move at all, they're almost always completely stationary. Cannot possibly see a world in which this is down to user error.I rest my case. Just... spend, like, $20 more on a good cable. Audiophile Ninja is a great, relatively affordable option for only $20 - $30 more than this one, but there's many many many other options. IF you cheap out and get this cable now, you'll be getting it again. and again. and again. So just spend a TINY bit more on a good, quality cable. Please. Don't suffer the same fate as me. Your good headphones deserve a good cable, which this is most certainly not. Don't be fooled by the "official" branding, and don't be fooled by the 4.5 star rating this product has (no clue how that happened honestly, it does NOT deserve that rating.) I was fooled by both of those things, I cheaped out (multiple times) and I've paid the price. Bringing it back full circle, just... don't do it.
