Worth only $30
I'm very sad that this ball was not the soft good quality bright orange top flite basketballs i knew of and always wanted back in the late 90's or early 2000's but didn't have the money back than to get one n always promised myself i'd get one someday after playing with one. Searched far n wide for those Top Flites of old n was disappointed that the top flites nowadays are completely different balls, they're hard like a $30 indoor/outdoor basketball. Read that Top Flite stopped making them old bright orange soft TF balls so i guess i'll never get to have one all to myself like i so wanted, back when i didn't have money. Refunding this ball n it's probably gonna cost me +$15 to mail it back, so don't get it....it's identical to an outdoor/indoor ball. Although it's an okay basketball though, but no way is it worth $60 or $64 at stores. Only worth $30 at most...u can get balls simular, if not better, for $30. Would not recommend to friends or anyone.

Not the same; very rubbery ball
When the ball first arrived, it actually felt better than the old "Zk Microfiber Composite" ball but then everything changed after just a little over a week of playing(indoors; clean floors). The ball begins to scratch a lot and that nice leather feeling was replaced with a more rubber ball feel. I was hoping once broken in it will feel better but then i bumped into an older guy who had the same model ball for a long time and now the ball is a smoothed out rubber ball...he claims he didn't play outdoors but it became all dark and maroon color. If you are looking for anything similar to the old tf 1000, go with the TF 1000 ZK Pro. the bad thing about that one is that it does have deep channel design which feels different but the material is almost identical. Not the worse ball out there, has a good grip to it but feels too much like an outdoor rubber ball for me.

Don't leave in the sun
My son left in the garage partial sun through windows and went flat and wouldn't stay filled

Not the same ball pictured
This is NOT the "ZK Microfiber Composite" (the little words under the TF-1000) as shown in the picture. They sell/send a ball with the words "Advanced Moisture Management" printed under the TF-1000. The "Adv Moisture Mgt" is a significantly inferior ball--the boys on the basketball team hate it.

This ball is a A Wooden Nickel
This ball is not the ball that is being advertised in the photograph (Classic ZK). It is a new version of the TF-1000 (Advanced Moisture management) that Spalding dreamt up. I and many others have been deceived by it. It cost me $10 to return. Unfortunately, until Spalding does a better job of differentiating this "Wooden Nickel" ball from the TF-1000 that we all know and love, you are better off purching this ball in a store where you can see, touch, feel, and read the true description of it. In the past 2 years i have mistakenly purchased 2 of these "junk" balls. I am out $45 for the one that is still rolling around in my closet, unused, and another $10 for this one that cost me $10 to return. What a Deal.........

Seems like a decent ball
I have only had an opportunity to take this ball out once. I like the weight and feel. My only problem is that upon close inspection, there really seems to be quite a bit of space between the "leather" of the ball and the ribs. The small gaps make it look like they cut the orange parts of the ball too small and when inflated, the gaps stretched open. They are small, however, I just am hoping that for this price of ball, they won't open up anymore.

Unlike the original TF 1000
I returned to this ball when I discovered it was nothing like the original. I am awaiting Spalding Classic which is due out April 1, 2013. Hopefully, it will be as good as the original TF 1000.I advise against ordering this ball.

What Happened, Spalding?
The TF1000 has always been my ball of choice, until now. I returned it as soon as I got it.They changed the material to some cheap, rubbery-like surface. The ball feels completely different than what it used to, more like a cheap outdoor ball, yet they still sell it for $50! Also looked like it was already lop-sided out-of-the-box. Unfortunately, it's time to find a new ball...
