Worked great on first attempt! Feels pretty secure and I liked having the two large handles vs the stick style that is offered by another brand. Will update if quality seems sub par on my longer excursion next week.

So far so good. The only thing to keep in mind is it helps if you use Rainex on the dome so water slides right off

Finally got a chance to use this in Hawaii this past week. Very cool device but it did leak almost immediately. It looks like there may be hairline cracks at the bolts that are causing it. Luckily the Osmo Action is water resistant so it didn't do any damage but certainly had an impact on pic/vid quality.Planning on trying to seal the dome again with some caulk or epoxy or something, but then it's on for good.One more thing to mention, this device is incredibly buoyant so you really have to force yourself down below water to get any shots lower than surface level, but works good as a split shot.All in all, cool device especially for the price, however there are certainly better ones out there that may have better quality control and prevent leaking.

This is great for those crative above and below water shots. It's also great for Diving/Scuba. I took it on 2 Dives with a max depth of 70Ft & 55º F temp with no leaks or fogging. Location: Casino Point Dive Park Catalina Island.Good: FISH LOVE IT!! (They can absolutely see themselves in the reflection, Air Tight (tested down to 70ft), No Fogging W/inserts at sea temp 55ºF (mine didn't come with inserts), 2 Handles are great to have vs 1 handle like my other ones, The Extended Trigger Buttin is a really nice feature! Floats, come with a nice felt bag!Bad: Absolutely NEEDS 3/4 Thread holes for mounting lights and rigging, it would make this product so much better (as you can see I used my own clamps). Needs to come with a protection cover for the dome or a replaceable dome option. Glare and the reflection of the camera off the inside of the dome when pointed towards a light source (noticeable in the 2nd Black sea bass photo), However, this is very typical of dome-styled housings, Avoid shooting into the sun with this, as silly as that sounds.Mine came used, what looks like an open box with No fog inserts, and tiny scratches inside (overall did not affect my photos or video)... I had no options as it arrived the day before my trip...

This product was great for about 30 minutes. Then it leaked and ruined my camera and SD card which had all my previous vacation photos. Super upsetting to lose all those photos bc of a faulty product.

I was excited to get this for a Maui vacation and snorkeling trip to Molokini Crater. I mounted 1/4-20 studs to have lights and everything. Within 10 minutes of snorkeling, I had 3/4” of water collecting inside the dome. Once water gets in the dome it’s very hard to get the dome clear again without disassembly (which I’ve not done yet). The inside of the back plate has a curb around the camera hole and makes it almost impossible to get the water completely out without shaking. Unfortunately the shaking makes spots all over the inside of the dome lens. You cannot win. I may try to add some mods like a dome drain screw and fix the sealing on the dome so that I can use it on future snorkels, but out of the box it has lots of issues. The camera compartment and buttons seem to work well — I’m not sure yet if they leak because I can see that the dome seal was a leak point. Once I fix the dome seal, then I can better test the button seals.

The dji osmo action fits snugly within this housing built into the dome. Construction is better than the gopole dome pro that has a housing and dome in 2 separate pieces. Handles feel sturdy. This is an inexpensive way to get dome footage. The aluminum screws will likely corrode after use in salt water if not washed well with fresh water afterward. That was an issue with the GoPro 3 housings. I think this is better valued at around $35usd than $47usd or more. In all, it is functional for its purpose and gets the job done. 3 stars because this is a product from abroad that is probably listed under several manufacture names for something identical and probably will need to be replaced after about a year of moderate use.
