5 stars — Exactly what I needed.I put these Vacplus moisture absorber boxes in our bathroom, primary closet, and car, and the difference showed up fast. Within a couple of days I could see water collecting in the bottom tray and the musty smell was gone. No noise, no power, no perfume—just dry air. The fragrance-free formula is perfect for anyone sensitive to scents, and the compact navy blue boxes are easy to tuck on a shelf without being an eyesore.Setup took seconds: peel the foil, snap the lid back on, and leave it alone. Each box has been steadily pulling moisture, and the bathroom one filled the quickest (no surprise). For the price, the 6-pack is a strong value—great for tackling multiple spots at once.Tips: keep them upright and on a flat surface; don’t shake after they start working. These moisture absorbing tubs are really great when there’s excess moisture all over the house. This is the second time purchasing this product and I have enough to place in almost every room in the house. They last for a nice amount of time and really do reduce the moisture and more importantly the mildew smell excess moisture can bring to a house when it has issues like these. You do need multiple for larger spaces, but it’s effective in bathrooms and bedrooms. It even helps in the basement (I used two). It’s easy to place and the container hasn’t had any issues with the beads or the liquid after it absorbs leaking out. It is sturdy and you can easily see through the product / container to see when it’s time to replace. It looks okay although it’s maybe not the most attractive design it does to the job. The comfort of knowing it’s effective and the lack of mildew smell is a really great indicator it’s working.

So far these seem to be doing their job. I do like how they were bundled in three, then wrapped as a set of 6 because I only needed the three at first.I live in Florida where humidity is as guaranteed as the sun rise. Since my home is almost 100 years old, she's prone to dampness and it has gotten to the point where our spices in their jars have hardened, so these have been placed in the pantry and cabinets to try and mitigate some of that. So far so good.They are small and designed to tuck into a corner. This was ideal for me. They are also lower profile and less likely to be tipped over than the brand name round containers. Also a huge plus.They don't have an unexpected odor - if you've used damprid, you know there is a slight smell to it that you just can't avoid.I'll see how long they last. Either they will work SO WELL I'll need to change them frequently, or so poorly I'll never need to change them, but only time will tell.For now, I am thoroughly pleased.

So I actually love these, they function well, they are easy to use, they start out very lightweight, they hold a lot of moisture, and they don't smell bad. But after having these for several months and having a mishap, I need to change my original rating.I originally gave this item five stars because it works so well, but after a few months and even moving houses, a few of these containers leaked. These don't leak regular water, like what you would expect after these pull humidity from the air, they leak a weird almost sticky liquid. I had one of these in a coat closet near my front door, on a shelf above where I keep some of my cleaning supplies like my vacuum and my Swiffer; when the closet container leaked, the liquid got all over my vacuum cleaner and Swiffer handles, and even wiping the handles off with Clorox wipes did not get rid of the residue. Months later, there is still a residue on my stick vac and my Swiffer.I would buy these again, on the condition that I could put some sort of drip tray or container underneath of each of these, to avoid leaks. These capture humidity well and keep my closets dry, but one of these containers leaking is almost worse than having high humidity in the first place, because humidity is regular moisture in the air, whereas these are a sticky liquid that I can only imagine is some weird mix of the water pulled from the air and whatever chemical or material is used to absorb the humidity in the first place. It's kind of like if the silica beads you get in a shoe box got wet and then sprayed everywhere.

I was a bit hesitant with buying these as I’m been using DampRid the longest but it’s so costly to keep buying a box with only three bags. This is a great alternative you get more for your bank and it works great. I will be buying these going forward.

I give it 4 stars because they do work. But I had bought a 6 pack and they have been placed mostly in my closet after I washed all my clothes from mold. I’m not sure if the one unit it’s self caught mold but my closet was doing fine until I started smelling a musty odor all over again. After washing some clothes again I came to realize the unit was what was giving the odor. It was only less than half an inch full with water but releasing a musty odor. So I threw it out and within minutes the odor was gone from my closet. I replaced it with a new one.
