I have a MacBook Pro 13 inch 2017 with 2 Thunderbolt 3 ports and this works perfect with it. I had a different brand I used with it for years but lost it in my recent move. The old one I had got really hot when plugged in. This one doesn’t get hot. My last one was also $100 so this feels like a good value. It fits flush. I mainly use it for the USB port so I can use an external SD card to transfer files from my Mac to my windows laptop or for when I want to use a mouse with my MacBook. Highly recommend.

Initially I bought this when I purchased an External Hard Drive for Backing up my laptop. It has since come in handy for my brother (when he visited and my niece when she visited). The multi-adapter is key; it is compact and very easy to use.

I love that when I DJ I can connect all my USBs into this instead of using a dongle. It is a snug fit into the USB C ports. It is so convienient and reads my mixer and USBs easily. It seems to be high speed as well. Would highly recommend to anyone needing high performance.

I've tried cheap adapters, expensive ones, and everything in between—nothing, and I mean NOTHING, has allowed my MacBook Pro to seamlessly connect with my Asus external monitor. I have a high-quality 4K HDMI cord and presumed that using a high-quality adapter would solve my problem, but it didn't. I tried adapters ranging from over a hundred dollars to around fifty, and even ones with a single cord. But THIS adapter, this one right here, works wonders! I think it might have to do with the fact that it utilizes both plugins, but I'm no genius. Honestly, I'd give it 5/5 if it weren't for the fact that it feels a bit cheap. My last adapter from this brand was super janky, and I constantly had to fiddle with it to get my monitor to display. I was too afraid to spend more money once I had something that worked, but it finally gave out last week. So, I bought this new one, and INSTANT CONNECTION. My monitor has never connected so effortlessly, even with my previous adapter (which had been repurposed from other uses before I started using it as my monitor adapter— but even then, it had been used sparingly). I was afraid this new one was just a fluke since I had used other products by this brand that hadn't worked, but I was wrong. I don't mind if I have to rebuy this in a couple of years—it's cheap, and most importantly, it works! Quality: 3/5 Light Weight: 5/5 Value for Money: 5/5 Overall: 4/5

Works well

I'm trying to be clever, but seriously. For the cost, this little fella is worth its weight in gold! It has a minimal profile and everything it doesn't take up much space. Sure it adds a few extra inches to the overall width of your laptop, but the main problem I've had with a dongle is that my HDMI cable had issues staying connected from the C-USB port--it would jiggle a little bit and my second screen would start wigging out. I also realized after a while that my second screen started having some static! So inconvenient and annoying! I figure this a great solution to this super annoying problem because it's stable and can actually stay flush to my laptop without any wiggling. I'm not a photographer or anyone that has technology aside from my laptop and second screen, Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, so having a unit with all of the Micro SD card readers, etc seemed a bit overkill to me, but this little unit fits the bill for what I was looking for to go dangle-less. I would highly recommend this product!

I have Macbook Air M1 2020, considering the price of the product, I expected a great quality out of it, and even though in fact it does indeed work, you have to push it all the way into the ports in order to make it work. If it's out of the ports even a little bit (and it could happen a lot) then it doesn't work, so you have to be careful. Overall, 2.5/5, wouldn't buy and wouldn't recommend. EDIT: I'm still gonna leave the original post here, but I changed the original 3 stars to 5 stars and changed the headliune. Turns out, all I had to do was to push the hub all the way in to the port in order to stay it firmly. Works just fine.

I received this USB C Hub for the MacBook Pro on January 21, 2020. It worked very well until last evening, April 2, 2020, when none of the USB ports would work. It did charge the computer, but neither the HDMI nor the USB ports would work. I tried everything to get the MacBook Pro to recognize the external drives. I then plugged the external drives (I have 2 that I use) into the old PC and they worked perfectly, so I know it is not a problem with the external hard drives. This morning I tried a brand new thumb drive just in case the MacBook Pro had decided it didn't want to work with a drive that had started out with images from a pc, but still nothing. I emailed the seller. Am awaiting a response... UPDATE: The seller emailed me back for the order number (which I forgot to include in my email.) They did make things right by refunding my me because I needed to purchase another port locally ASAP for work. I appreciate their prompt attention to this matter which is why I gave them 3 stars...customer service was very good.

I bought this product for my MacBook Pro to connect my wireless kayboard, mouse, monitor, and webcam. None of the USB ports consistently worked out of package (would occasionally work for a day or two before seemingly dying). I purchased in September2021, didn't start using it till October 2021, and as of writing (Feb 2022) the only adapter component that works at all is the HDMI Port. I have had to buy other usb-c adapters to take care of the jobs this product was supposed to do. Would not recommend.

Muy bonito, el color es muy parecido al de la compu, funciona bien en usb, aun no lo pruebo con el HDMI, pero supongo que debe ser igual. Fue una buena compra :)
