OLBAS Herbal Cough Drop Pastilles, 27 CT

I was originally advised by a holistic store to take these wonderful cough drops in March 2009 for the cough that I was having with a bad case of bronchitis. I came down with a horrible virus in October 2009 and ordered 5 boxes of these to insure that I was prepared for the winter. The cough that I had with the virus was horrible and just one drop stopped the cough immediately. There is no "funny" taste to the drops. I have not used them for a sore throat yet since I have not had one but I can attest to the fact that they are great for coughs. One thing you need to be aware of. There is a gritty residue in the box that will come out especially if you are carrying the box in your purse.

10 mg of menthol, more than any of the standard brands. I have friends that I have given one to when they've needed something and they'll be like wimps and say they are too strong and I'm like "But are you coughing??" No. AND they are long lasting, so you use less. It will rest on the roof of your mouth for a real long time and keep working it's magic. I will never use any other cough drop again. Now I can't find them anywhere. What's happened? I hope they return.

The flavor is very strong, so I would recommend putting them on the roof of your mouth! This way, you get all the menthol goodness—which dissolves phlegm and allows you to BREATHE!—while avoiding the strong menthol flavor. ❤️ Love these cough drops! Been using them for years. My local co-op stopped selling them and I was sick for way longer than usual without them. So grateful to have these now.

These are really good! I found these through former Wicked the Musical star Lindsay Mendez's video blog on Broadway.com's YouTube page and she recommended these for your throat and voice. So when I heard of them I wanted to try them. And they really cleared me up. Also, they are really minty and menthol. I will definitely use these for my upcoming school production. They do leave a not so good after taste but it's not so bad that I can't handle it. I really, really recommend this for singers. :)

This product is great for soothing the throat when singing or speaking. I use them before and after I have a performance.

i get a bad cough several times a year due to allergies and i need cough drops. unfortunately, they all are either full of sugar or fake sugar - none of which i want in my mouth regularly. i am so grateful to have found these. they may even work more efficiently than the big brands. great product.

Taste is terrible

This is the only cough drop that helps my cough due to lupus flareups. There is a cough syrup for sale, but that is hard to fit in one's purse. I was happy to find this product available online through Amazon and at a fair price, shipping and handling. It shipped earlier than projected which was a boon as I had run out of cough drops and having bad coughing spells.
