Mechanical mixers break down nutrients and turn ingredients into a flavorless pulp. This is why jumpstarter bars don't need to be fortified with synthetic vitamins and minerals, or artificial flavors. Our bars are good complex carbs that are absorbed slowly in the bloodstream. They are good tasting (for a healthy product-remember
I sampled these at a Women in Business Breakfast put on by SCORE Orange County in Costa Mesa CA about 2 weeks ago and immediately came home and ordered the variety pack. They are good tasting (for a healthy product-remember... it's not a candy bar), and healthy to eat. I avoid gluten and watch my sugar intake, and it's hard to find products that address both issues. So when we're going to Starbucks for a coffee I grab one of these to take with me, and they are great with coffee! They are also a great between meal afternoon snack. I'll be ordering more!

Excellent gluten free protein bars
these are great bars. They are tasty, fresh, non oily and really fill the late afternoon craving for something sweet. I like having these instead of some chocolate. Although I really enjoy good dark chocolate as well. I have shared them with clients and family and everyone likes them. I also really appreciate the service and the extra bars that are thrown in unexpectedly. Thank you for this excellent product.

FINALLY --- A SOFT BAR THAT DOESNT TASTE LIKE CARDBOARD
These bars taste so good. They are dense and flavorful with a texture that resembles cookie dough.Be warned though. The bars are small -- slightly less than 2 inch by 3 inch -- about 4 bites total. While each bar is only 150 calories, with 3 grams of protein, I needed ( and wanted) 2 bars to feel satiated. Still, no too bad for calories -- but a little heavy on the pocketbook.I purchased the package with all flavors. At the time, I am liking the date bar, since I am not a chocolate lover. For variety, I would recommend raisin and also apricot.

One word: gross. They are dry, have an odd aftertaste, and a weird texture. There must be some people that like it but not me.

They changed the recipe I guess. Hardly has flavor and dry. What a disappointment. I finally found a snack I could eat. Won’t be buying again.

I received these today and immediately ate one. They are very good. They are fresh tasting and chocolaty and sweet, but not too sweet. I really enjoyed it and I will order them again. They will make a great snack for the ride home from work because they are not messy (crumbly) either. They are a good product.
