Jumpstart Bodyfuel All Natural Gluten Free Vitality Protein Bar, Chocolate, 2.15 Ounces (Pack of 12)

I purchased the coconut-date cookies and love them and gave them 5 stars. These bars are not nearly as good as the coconut-date cookies. These are just ok and not worth the price.

I did not like these one bit. I usually like all things garbanzo bean, however the texture of this bar was like eating sand. I couldn't get past the texture. My husband thoroughly enjoyed them but if you're like me and don't like a mouthful of sand, this is not the bar for you.

Jumpstarter Bodyfuel energy bars are truly what they claim to be; outrageously delicious! Not only do these bars satisfy my sweet tooth, they provide me with more of a leap start rather than a jump start. These bars come in 6 different flavors; with Chocolate Raisin, AppleBerries, Cranberry, and Raisin being my favorites. The taste of these bars isn't the usual dry, crumbly, bark like flavor so often found in energy bars. Rather these bars have a fresh homemade taste where the cranberry bar has real cranberries and the chocolate raisin bar has real raisins, etc; which results in a truly fresh dense scone like flavor rather than that of hard wet sand. These bars definitely provide the needed energy needed to carry one through those hectic and/or strenuous days when missing meals just seems to happen. These also happen to be great for hikes, bike rides, road trips, etc. Downside; difficult to find in retail stores (hopefully this will change soon) and at $2.00 a pop, it can get pricy. However, when considering the bar can easily keep one satisfied until their next meal, it's definitely worth the price. Major pluses: no trans fats, no eggs, dairy free, and absolutely no preservatives. Makes me wonder what energy bar fairies they've got working for them that make these bars so delicious. Recommend: An AppleBerries bar with a morning cup of Joe or Chocolate bar with an evening cup of Joe equals yummy for my tummy. Thank you energy bar fairies.

These are pretty worthless IMHO. Not filling even as a small snack and I'm a small person that doesn't eat much.

These bars are AMAZING. The only reason I don't give them a 5/5 is because I've ordered twice now, and instead of receiving a variety pack, I've just gotten a lot of a single flavor.

Was not very flavorful, more like carboard. A little small for the price

I sampled these at a Women in Business Breakfast put on by SCORE Orange County in Costa Mesa CA about 2 weeks ago and immediately came home and ordered the variety pack. They are good tasting (for a healthy product-remember... it's not a candy bar), and healthy to eat. I avoid gluten and watch my sugar intake, and it's hard to find products that address both issues. So when we're going to Starbucks for a coffee I grab one of these to take with me, and they are great with coffee! They are also a great between meal afternoon snack. I'll be ordering more!
