TExES Social Studies 7-12 Practice Questions: TExES Practice Tests & Exam Review for the Texas Examinations of Educator Standards

It's a good refresher or study exam for the Texes exam for sure. But to use this as a sole study method for the exam (unless your HIGHLY confident of your knowledge) is not recommended. its got questions and the answers with explanations, but you're most likely to see questions like in the book 5% of the time.

I enjoyed learning from this exam book because I am currently trying to prepare for the exam. The exam book is helping me be better prepared by helping me relearn US History that I learned ten years ago in college. Since it has been over a decade since my undergraduate years, this book is helping me refresh my memory on US History facts that I have not studied in a long time.

Going over the questions are a very good practice, when all the resources have been used already. Go back to basics!! The shipping was prompt.

Overall it's an okay review. However, there are three things which prompted me to give it only 2 stars. The questions in this practice book are not arranged the way they appear on the exam. There are 130 questions per practice test, and there will be 140 questions on the actual TexEs exam. Finally, my major issue is that there are only 2 practice tests in this booklet, so $35 for this paperback is somewhat of a rip-off in my opinion.

The study guide is great!! I like how quick and to the point it is ! There’s no nonsense just what you need to know !

Just from a quick glance the book is thorough. and the explanation of the answers are great.

While this leaves you thinking the questions are NOT set up to the real test design. There are a lot of typos. And the "Answer Key" gets lazy, at first explains the yes and no's then only the no's.
