The Nude Paperback – September 30, 2011

The Nude developes gradually, but starts to pick up in intensity towards the middle. After this point it is difficult to put down. It is a really human interest story, with distinctive issues that grab your attention. The climax of the story is unpredictable and exciting. The short paragraphs were novel for me but a good idea. Helped to keep the story moving quickly. All in all, good reading material.

Lots of twists and turns but not my kind of novel. Family problems got me down in this love story.

The story was well written as mystery story. Miss Sisu wrote her first book and the theme was very good for her first book

A story that initially was a romance but wove a plot that was much more. The intrigue deepened the more the story unfolded. Quite enjoyable

The Nude is a great convergence of love and mystery. The writing is very good, and the characters came alive in my mind. The plot will surprise you and keep you turning the pages. A wonderful debut not to be missed.

For me, excellent fiction is not only credible but one that reaches out and grabs the reader and pulls one into every scene, so that without lines to read or roles to play, the reader, though invisible, is right there among the characters and in this way the reader is not even aware of turning pages but feels himself or herself right there living in the story and in the very soul of the characters.This is how I felt reading "The Nude", a well written novel by a skillful author who hails from my own home, Barbados. Those who read it will undoubtedly have the same experience as I did.As one who loves the mystery and magic of language, I found myself repeating whole paragraphs over and over just to savor Margaret Sisu's elegant choice of words. All in all, I found "The Nude" a beautiful work.

This book is very well written and hard to put down with a twist at the end. Excellent first book for the author. Definitely a must read!
