Warm is better
Staying warm. I do a lot of outside activities and staying warm is very important. Many times I stand still for long periods of time and getting cold is a common occurrence. I am also 6’6” and finding clothes that fit a tall person well is often difficult so tall sizes are welcome. These are very comfortable, a good quality and I will buy more.

Carharrt long johns
Very warm and a great quality long john bottom. True to size. Order the size you normally wear for a great fit.

Comfortable, no sweat, great fit.
Bought these for a late-season 3 day camping trip in the mountains. Temps were down in the mid-30's at night and warmer (mid-70's) during the day. I was surprised at how comfortable these were. Did a decent job of helping me keep warm during the night, and even when it got warmer during the day and I got hot before I took them off, they breathed very well and I didn't feel sweaty in them. I'm 5'-8", 155 lbs, 33-inch waist, 30-inch inseam (medium build), and the medium size fit perfectly even after washing.

Good quality
My son spent 2 months skiing in Colorado and these did a fairly good job of keeping him warm. Not too heavyweight and also not scratchy or irritating.

Pretty snug.
Product really helps keep me warm. Doesn't cause me to sweat like I thought it would. Only complain that I have is thay the calf portion is a bit bigger than I am so its a tad loose in fit. I am also on the shorter side 5'6" and it is a little longer than I am so there's thay but it's not uncomfortably longer so it still works. I got a size smaller than what I am but it's because I'm currently losing weight and did not want to shop again for more base layers and figured it would fit me better as I lost a bit more weight.

Good stuff
Warmest thermals that i have found on amazon. Very good quality as well. I am 6'1" 180lb and the large tall fits perfect.

These are beautifully warm in the winter. They are lightweight, but, best of all, they don't cling to the pants like cotton long-johns do. These are silky, instead. They wear well & last a long time. Worth every penny if you live in a col-winter area.

I’ve used these sitting outside ice fishing in 0 to -10 Celsius and just fleece pants over top. My legs stayed warm with a light 5-10 km/hr breeze. The fabric was comfortable. The size bought was good for length but a little loose in the legs. I’m a size 38 waist. When really cold I also wear snow pants and these would also work well to keep body warmer while stationary.
