Okay Book
This book seems pretty helpful; only downfall is I didn’t notice when I bought it, that it was used. Kind of disappointed to see that there are several pages that are highlighted.

ABA must-read!
Now this book right here... is the business. It's not an easy read. After all, it's grad work that lists out research and the most up to date information on applied behavior analysis (so I was not expecting an easy read). It packs a punch! there's a lot of material in here and there is a lot to read. The seller was quicker than I expected and I had no issues at all with this purchase. If anything, it's a book i will refer to for the rest of my career. Perhaps it could have come in hard cover? but maybe not. It would only serve to drive the price up. No complaints! Very informative!

Functional Behavioral Assessment in Depth
I must thank Dr. Cipani and Shock for presenting Functional Assessment of Behavior in Depth and with great clarity in this book. The most enriching feature is that the examples are from a variety of settings - autistic children, adult care homes, class room behavior of typically developing children, foster homes etc.It gives a lucid presentation of methodological problems and how to overcome them- read especially on how they treat the subject of making recording ABC data meaningful. There is much more subtlety to this exercise than one suspected froma preliminary understanding. The language used strikes a good balance between being technical and intelligible. In the final analysis,I'd not hesitate to recommend this to any student or practitioner of Applied Behavior analysis. It's a textbook.
Why would I give 5 stars to a textbook that I am required to have for a class? Who would do that? I wish that the material was arranged better. As I read through the chapters for my class and try to answer my study questions, it's hard to pick out certain things over other things, which things are more important etc. The Cooper, Heron ABA book is much better. I will say this though, they tell a lot of stories about their personal experiences and relate them to the material which actually does help understand it better. However, this book had a lot of typos. I think that's inexcusable and it really sours my impression of the authors' abilities as Behavior Analysts.

A book for school
Book is nice and compact, and not ridiculously long, and from what I read so far, it is very well written. Dr. Cipiani is the director of the psychological department at the school I attend currently, and I am pleased to finally read something from one of my professors, directors, or instructor. If you are attending college for an ABA degree or license you may want to pick this book up.

Functional Behavioral Assessment Review
This book is excellent! The authors guide the reader through the entire process of assessment to program design. For practitioners, it presents many useful, detailed procedures from the authors' real life experiences. For students, the material is presented in an entertaining, accessible format that is quite effective. Thus, I highly recommend this text.Eb Blakely, Ph.D., BCBA-D - Assistant Professor, Florida Institute of Technology

FBA text
This book is a necessity for my current graduate course and it eliminated me having to trekk to the campus bookstore. Since I am an online student, anytime I can avoid the campus, I do! The price was the same and the condition was mint. I know a lot of classmates who order the book and it wasn't the updated edition but mine was:)

No page numbers
Don't buy the Kindle version. There are no page numbers. So when your prof says "Go to page xyz" you can't.
