Simple, -45 min, strategy/luck= entertaining
Good for beginners and children but also enjoyable for those who are more seasoned board game enthusiasts. An excellent game to introduce people to a taste of what intermediate games can be without overwhelming them with your favorite expert level games! A child can catch on within a turn or two.Easy to learn and play as there is a luck of the draw aspect— but I see strategic decisions on every turn. Simple enough to just pass time with your family and friends— although intricate enough to make a good time out of it. I attached a picture from our collection so that you can see that this review is based on some understanding. $25 is well worth it.

Simple, easy to teach game...
Highly recommend this easy to play and teach game along with its older 'sibling', Sapiens.

Really disappointed in size and quality
I just received this game today and, while I haven't played it yet, I was really disappointed in the game/pieces when I opened up the box. The box is very large and the board is fairly small. It's held together in pieces by cardboard connectors. The player boards are simply thick paper. The wooden pieces are SUPER tiny, like a miniature. The cow piece was less than half the size of my index finger and several of the cardboard monument pieces started splitting just putting them together. I'm hoping the game is fun to make up for the disappointment of the overall appearance of the game and pieces. I was be SUPER disappointed if I had paid the suggested retail price of $50 for this game but at half off, I'm giving it a shot.

An overlooked tile laying gem that should be in every collection
This is a really good tile layer with medium complexity and lots of good tactical decisions. I really like the rule of not being able to save resources from round to round but rather having to use them in your tableau. The puzzle aspect of this game is impressive, unique, challenging and rewarding. The game essentially asks you to focus on future turns and make adjustments to what is happening on the board. Weighing the value of wheat and if to use it as a resource or not can be agonizing since it can be worth a lot of points at games end .For the itch this scratches it essentially becomes a Citrus killer, a game I rarely play anymore. I see fertility hitting the table often because of its game length and accessibility.2/10/19 I love this game at three...and not as much at at two since players are unwilling to cede positional advantages to one another. This is less evident with more people and perhaps becomes more solitaire in that sense. Played this with the kids (9 and 7) and my 9 year old crushed with a papyrus/wheat engine engine. I like this game a lot and upped my rating because the replay-ability is strong..

La caja estaba dañada
El juego es muy bueno, una pena que la caja haya llegado dañada. Para los coleccionistas el estado del producto es muy importante
