Fits an odd 100 gram canister, clicks right in.
Played with it at home, not yet in the field.Adds stability, which is it's job.0.9 ounces or 27 grams on my scale.Calculating the weight versus a potentil spill, losing water, fuel, possibly food and the risk of a burn, it is a winning bet.Plastic gets the stove canister off the cold ground, a plus. The bright high visabilty / hard to lose orange color is a plus.Fits a fairly odd 100 gram can, it just clicks right in.On minor con - Does not fit flat into the bottom of my Toaks 450 cup/pot with lid, not a deal breaker, I just put it with the lid.Overall, I am pleased.

OK but not great
It is more stable then a canister, I question the ruggedness, time will tell.

Jetboil necessity
If you’re out there in the wilds, and you want to make coffee, uneven ground is a problem. You MUST have this tripod to level things out or you will spill the water as it boils. I’ve used these for years, had the last one stolen from the truck in Santa Fe. Go and have some fun, and some coffee.

Stable and light but the folding points are cheap and are doomed to fail.
Just decent. Weakest parts are the joints on the legs where they fold. The legs kinda lock open and it is very stable, but those pins will be the first things to fail. Spend a few more bucks and get a better one that you don’t have to worry about if/when your dinner is going to wind up on the ground. Or worse, boiling water on you in the middle of a trip.

Worked well with msr fuel canisters, both small and large.

Lightweight stand really increases the stability of my stove
Nice and light, folds up and easily fits under the fuel can in my nesting cook set. Fold it out and click onto the bottom of your fuel can to double the size of the base. This has definitely earned a place in my kit for weekend trips when I just carry a simple fuel canister stove. Seems well made, I haven't used it long enouph to rate it's longevity, but it seems simple and well enouph made to last.

Holds the stove steady
I got this separate from my stove, but a lot of kits have them in them. Already had cookware so just got stove, windscreen, and this stand. Fits on relatively easy, but didn't come with directions, so try it out before you get cooking. Held the stove stable on a variety of tables and surfaces (tried them out just for this review. Added peace of mind to cooking process that can be tipsy. folds up nice, stores easy, works well.
