Among the reusable capsules that I’ve tried, this one performed the worst. The main drawback is the filter is too think so it consumes a significant space for the coffee ground. As the result, the espresso turns out pretty bad. The tamper looks cool but don’t contribute much to make your espresso taste good. A good thing here is the three capsules but then you just triple the badness.

We love these things. Easy and clean. Save a bunch on coffee too.

I got this to save money, instead of buying the Peet’s nespresso pods, I wanted to use my own coffee in these pods. However, the espresso shot was very watery and did not taste the same. When I tried to increase the coffee in the pod, it took more than 2 minutes to get 1 shot. Now I’ve given up on the idea of filling my own pods, pre-filled is easier to use and makes a great cup of coffee.

The capsules are great, they work really really well. Although the free gift capsule, made of plastic instead, got easily dented upon first use. It fit easily in the slot and closed with no effort at all, but when making the coffee it seemed to be stuck, and when releasing it to inspect it the capsule was dented from the machine and rendered unusable now. The rest work great, but the free gift one takes the point away from not making more waste.

Love these capsules! They work well, easy to clean and ot much hassle as I initially feared. It’s also good for the environment and at the end of the day saves money over the regular capsules. I got a second pair already. It had been 3 months of use. I hope they would last long!

I was really hoping this set would allow me to expand the range of coffees I can make in my nespresso machine, but they just don’t work well enough. The capsules simply cannot recreate the kind of pressure that is created with the regular nespresso capsules, which results in weak, thin coffee that lacks crema. The quality of the pieces seemed nice, they just cannot make excellent coffee

Works extremely well. I get best cup of espresso if I compress down leaving about an 1/8" from top. Don't pack too tight and too high, as this hinders the ability to get the water through. Very happy with this purchase! Makes a nice strong cup every time!

I absolutely love it. I'm using it with a portable esspresso machine and it does a fantastic job. Keep in mind that you can't make two cups out of one tablespoon of coffee. I've read that some people are complaining that the coffee isn't strong enough. If you're trying to make a pot of coffee out of one capsule, yeah, the coffee won't be strong. That's logic. It seems well built, it's easy to clean and should last a long time. It's hard to find better than this

Once I bought a grinder that could properly grind espresso beans I was able to use these pods to make great tasting espresso drinks - tamping is still tricky but the quality is there. Like most manual espresso machines the hardest thing is to dial in the grind and the tamp to get what you want. I use a Breville Creatista Pro and have no problems with the capsules working in my machine. And I feel better for composting the grounds after the fact (once the capsule cools down)

I purchased this hoping to be able to make my own nespresso classic pods. Unfortunately, nespresso keeps discontinuing the flavours I like. I read the reviews about weak coffee and the need to get fine grind and to tamp the coffee well before using. I did both. Unfortunately, after trying several times the results were the same, watery coffee. I filled the capsule as muchaas ppossible and tamped it as much as I could. The results were the same. The problem is I don't think the pod holds enough coffee and there are too many holds in the capsule so the water flows through too quickly resulting in very weak coffee. I REALLY REALLY wanted this to work. Unfortunately, it just doesn't. The coffee is weak and flavorless. So disappointing.

These are great! I use them with my Nespresso mini and save a fortune by filling them with freshly ground coffee every morning rather than relying on overpriced capsules.
