QualGear 135-Inch Fixed Frame Projector Screen, 16: 9 3D High Reflective Silver at 2.5 Gain (QG-PS-FF6-169-135-S)

I researched screens for a long time. Great reviews and a reasonable price attracted me to qualgear. Fast shipping. After 2 days, my wife got tired of the box in the media room so she decided to put it together herself. It took her a little over an hour. She’s not the person who does this stuff in our home. She did a great job and it was easy enough for her to do it until the last part where the stabilizing bar in the center needed to be added. I helped her with that and hung it on the wall. Note: Make sure you have enough room as the screen is large. Our media room is dark so I chose the version of the screen for darker rooms with higher reflective quality. It is sharp and brilliant. No wrinkles or folds since it has a stretching component built in to it, which is another feature that attracted me to it. The black felt frame looks professional and reflects no light. When hanging it, i loved that it has adjustable holes in the back so as long as your nails or screws are level (and in studs if you wish) and spaced far enough apart, the holes will slide on the frame adjust! That also means the whole screen can be slid over on the wall easily after hung for an exact fit. I had little margin for error between two light fixtures and it’s perfectly centered.

I was really scared to try the High Gain Silver/Grey reflective screen...but I AM VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY MOST PLEASED...HOLY COW!!! From MY view in seating AND in and out of Ambient lighting?...I honestly see a raise in the depth of color, the vividness is maximum and because the screen is a 2.5 gain?...AWESOME RESULTS FROM RESPONSE from QualGear!!!...I chose the high gain here because I can low set the player/video game system to the darker settings and still get the best possible deep color display...My projector at 9 ¹/2 feet away from screen (non ceiling mounted) is absolutely incredible...I'm actually FLOORED on how beautiful the picture/program are...and the 3D which is my favorite over 4K is absolutely incredible-->Optoma UHD50...QualGear 92 inch Silver/Grey reflective screen are A PERFECT MATCH 100%...(and the UHD51A, UHD60 and so forth)...VERY MOST INTENSELY PLEASED...😎...BEST PART OF THIS REVIEW?...I GOT THE SCREEN FOR $100 LESS THAN $248 PRICE STARTING...I don't know how?...but I am EXTREMELY PLEASED...💎👌❤👏🙌

Not suitable for passive 3D due to a very poor extinction ratio. High degree of speckle when combined with RGB laser projector.

Get this screen you will not be disappointed. I have a epson 2045 model and I cant tell you enough how happy I am about this screen. If you really want colors and brightness to pop high silver screen is the way to go. Looks good even on 25% dimmed ceiling lights. I have tried other screens but bright white material. I hated the ghost white shade the screen used to put on even in dark room. My theater is dedicated one so dark viewing most of the time. I got this screen on Amazon warehouse used great condition for really cheap. The cherry on the cake was that I ordered 110 inches and received 120 inches 😁😁. Thank you Amazon.

Paired it with an Optoma uhd50x. Excellent colors, deep black levels. I would recommend it to a friend. A little tricky putting it together but worth it in the end.

Easy to put together but it's at least a two person job. Awesome picture!

I ordered 110 inches, and the result was 120 inches. When I was installed, I found that I would have to deduct my freight if I returned.

I purchased the 120 inch high reflective silver 2.5 gain and it looks great paired with my optoma uhd60. Even with ambient light it looks awesome, If you have the optoma uhd60 I definitely recommend this screen.

great screen - construction was straight forward enough. Don't worry to much about the centre support bar being completely straight. you will need it though as the top of the screen will sag without the additional support

I had read some reviews on how silver screens were a hybrid of gray and white screens because of the brightness of the image they provide, and their ability to do better blacks. Unfortunately, that is not what I found. I found the screen to be unevenly bright with a lot of hot-spotting, to the point the image was really washed out in spots. I have a pretty bright Epson projector, so it's likely it was just a bad combination between it and the silver screen. I returned the silver screen(without any hassles) and replaced it with a gray Qualgear screen, and for my purposes, it has been way better. No complaints about putting it together, though as many other people have said, you do need two people to put in the middle support, and to hang it. That would be true of any screen this size.

overall well made screen, easy to understand instruction. sadly mine came with a .9 gain screen instead of the 2.5 gain silver that i ordered.
