This is very well made and I love that the top comes down over it with flaps that velcro around the sides under and behind the lid rim so that it protects the zipper and hopefully would prevent water from getting in should the zipper fail after a fire. Of course I don't know how well it holds up to a fire and water, and hopefully will never have to find out. But it is very thick material and seems to be heavy duty. I bought it to use in my RV to put important papers, documents, medications and other things I want to protect should there ever be a fire in the RV when we are traveling. I think and hope this will do the job it is intended for but can't guarantee it will and hope i never have to, but just having some peace of mind is better than having nothing. They say it will so that is all I had to go on. I would recommend this for the peace of mind and because it does seem to be very well made and has lots of room inside of it to hold quite a few items, whether it be documents, medication or other items.

The Macrox fireproof and waterproof bag is lightweight and has plenty of room for all my documents and valuables I want to be safe but also easy to grab and carry out in case of an emergency. It is affordable and meets the needs I was looking for in a fireproof and waterproof bag.

This fireproof, portable file box/briefcase holds quite a lot of document files, photo albums etc. It is easy to load and easy to see what is inside. It’s also lightweight and has an impressively high temperature fireproof rating. I much prefer this fireproof portable box style to a fireproof folder style that I acquired previously. I have purchased 2 of this style now.

The zipper was a bit wonky to close, otherwise, a good , portable case to store important documents . Didn’t take it in the shower with me, so not sure of waterproofing, but it seems durable and portable . I had a 40 year old metal box before….unwieldy and cumbersome , so glad to get this modern looking version.

Good constructed and seems sturdy and water proof

I needed a fireproof bag to protect my 3-ring, life organizer binder, which is 3” (spine) x 11.5” (top to bottom) x 12” (side to side), and doesn’t fit in my hanging files lock box (won’t allow the lid to close). I chose the Flypal fireproof document bag because of its interior size (16” x 12.5” x 6.5”), the 4-layered protection, and zipper protection. Because it has a handle and shoulder strap, it’ll be easy to “grab and go”. The bag arrived folded flat and in perfect condition. The images are (1) the bag expanded with the shoulder strap attached (2) the outer lid opened to show the inner lid, lockable zipper heads (which aligned perfectly), and built-in combination lock (3) the inside capacity and interior zipper pouch. Image (4) shows it holding three binders with spines of 3” (black), 2.5” (green) and 3” (red) BUT, as shown in image (5), you can only zip closed the inner lid with two 3” binders in the bag (true to advertising of 6.5” capacity). The bag is water-resistant, not waterproof, which wasn’t the priority for me when considering the Flypal fireproof document bag. It is big enough for my binder and I hope it never needs tested.

This product is of good quality and construction. It met my expectations perfectly.

This Product is Great. More than what I expected.

I love this product. Never had a fire so unsure if it works but I have faith it does and hope I never have to find out! The lock takes some fiddling but I don't mind... only have to lock ot if Im leaving town. It's great that it's soft and not heavy, like fire boxes from a decade ago! I highly recommend it.

Product is good so far. No fire to test it, but overall I feel better having it.

Very well made

We are very pleased with the construction of the bag and the roominess. Of course we haven't had a fire, so don't how it will perform. But it looks and feels like it will do the job.
