I use this quite often at work and have never had any issue with it. Works as it should and the flat mid section helps your fingers not slip while unlocking cuffs. Will buy another one if needed.

Well, to sum it up.. The world seems to be heading towards some unknown territory and TBH, making “go bag“ and storing it away gives peace of mind, sad but, true! I’ve got kids out of state in different colleges and I want them to prepared as well- One never knows IF.. this could come in handy?!! (Illegals detention?!) No! I do not intend to see them arrested or busting out of handcuffs- along the same lines, I do not see them needing emergency fishing pole equipment, using fire starting paraphernalia and yet, who knows what could happen if things become unhinged!!A lifetime ago I was worked for Police Department and tried these on my S/W cuffs- with a little patience and tweaking, we got the cuffs opened up. So, I do feel this is a product that could come in handy- if, you have it available right time and right place! But.. Like I said, I’m not expecting to ever need to use.. I’m just going to feel better that it’s in the bag, just in case!!Using the product feels sturdy and quite durable.. I could however tell, that with too much torque.. this does have ability to bend/brake metal end, if not careful. But, it would take a lot of misuse/force to do so.Overall, I’m a crazy mom.. wanting to plan for the crazy “what if’s” and doing that.. I felt this is a rock solid item and a staple to add to my “just in case” needs inside the go bag- worth the purchase.. and truly, a purchase I hope I never need!! Wouldn’t even care if they all called me crazy and told stories of “ remember when mom went nuts and ordered a handcuff key?! It would be money well spent even if it’s just for the entertainment value my kiddos would get out of teasing me!!”I hope this info helps… Feel free to let me know!

After putting this product to use it has discolored over time. It has held up for over a year now with no issues. Great product!

Cool novelty piece that actually works as a key.

I like the length and portability of this key. Not a big fan of the plastic handle, however it does seem durable. Use this in a defensive tactics class and it was used by me and several other individuals, no issues.
