Dual Tower heat-sink designed for mini-ITX boards in cube cases. 6 X 6mm sintered heat-pipes in dual fin stacks effectively takes away excessive heat from the CPU when overclocked. Nickeled black heat-sink body and retention system (including fan clips and metal back plate). Unique fin stack design better fits Asus ROG mini ITX motherboards. Support Multiple-Platforms. Can be used on Socket 775/1150/1155/1156/1366/2011/2011-3 Platform, and AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+/FM1/FM2/FM2+ Sockets.

AM4 users beware, even if you have the AM4 mounting kit, you still might be missing a piece.
Dropped the full load temps of my Ryzen 1600 from >75C to 50C which is great.Happy with the heatsink, and Nan's Gaming gear even had the updated AM4 mounting brackets thrown in the box.BUT. NOTE to AM4 users. You will still be missing a part needed to actually mount the heatsink to an AM4 board! This isn't Nan's fault - I also emailed ThermalRight support and requested an AM4 mounting kit for this specific heatsink, and they ALSO didn't include the part.I don't know it's name, but if you go here http://thermalright.com/product/true-universal-btk/ the missing piece is the "crossbar" that actually secures the heatsink to the motherboard mounting bracket (the part that actually presses the heatsink down onto the processor in the socket). The one that comes with the heatsink is too short to span across the AM4 compatible bracket.I ended up just taking a strip of aluminum, drilling 2 holes in it and using that, but... that's not really ideal.I just wanted to give a heads up to AM4 users. Hopefully newer shipments of this heatsink will just include a compatible crossbar.

It is insanely quiet and kept the i7-3820 just as cool as an 120mm aio under IntelBurnTest(non avx/12gb of ram)
I bought this for a x79 dell motherboard (pulled from an alienware aurora r4). It is insanely quiet and kept the i7-3820 just as cool as an 120mm aio under IntelBurnTest(non avx/12gb of ram).It did end up mounted vertically where the exhaust would blow upwards and not towards the read, but it fit perfectly and didn't mess with any of the ram (again ram pulled from the same alienware with no heatsink) or the vrm heatsink. And while it doesn't seem to have the correct mounting plate (it is an older model of the silver arrow) for the upgraded mounting kit for AM4/ryzen, still very nice of Nan's Gaming Gear to provide one with this even without asking

Does NOT fit Corsair 250d case
While this may be labeled a m-itx cooler it does not fit all m-itx cases. This cooler is GIANT! It did look very nice in its bag, though.

The cooling performance is amazing and above my expectation
I installed this cooler in my RYZEN 1700 setup, out of the box, this cooler does NOT support AM4 socket, and I know this before ordering it.My plan was to modify the existing back plate and the anchoring mounts by drilling the needed holes to match the AM4 holes. But that didn't work since as out of the box Back plate is so tough that you can't make additional holes with normal drills, you need a machine shop to do that :(So I modified the existing back plate of my Asus Prime X370 Pro by enlarging the 4 holes, then followed the same instructions as provided by Thermalright manual.Installing the Anchoring Mounts was at 45 degree using (Intel CPU pre-drilled holes). So my CPU cooler is not facing the RAM DIMMs nor PCIe solt (it is in-between).The final installation is firm and solid, the contact area between the base of the CPU cooler and the top of the CPU (IHS) is covering almost 90%.The cooling performance is amazing and above my expectation, the max CPU temps used to be in mid 70s degree with Wraith Spire cooler, with Silver Arrow ITX it is mid 50s with stock Frequency. Overclocking to 3.7 GHz all cores is in mid 60s.Noise level is excellent, you can't hear the fan even at full speed.I'm really satisfied with this cooler.Edit: just received the AM4 compatible brackets from Thermalright. It took 6 calendar days from shipping to receiving the mounts. The Brackets/back-plate are exactly the same expect as the original except they have additional holes for AM4.

but the temperatures are really good given the noise levels
There's a slight tilt and the finish is prone to fingerprints, but the temperatures are really good given the noise levels, and the cooler looks amazing too.
