Ones I could wear outside in the winter to shovel, ones that were nice enough that I could wear to work, and ones that I could just wear outside if I were going to the playground with my son or going for a walk. So I purchased these and they've served that purpose quite well. They're appropriate for about 85 to 90% of the time I spend outside in the winter. They're nice enough that I can wear them to the office, but rugged enough so I can wear them when I clear snow off the car or shovel the driveway. I can't really speak to the touch screen feature as I've never tried to use them for that purpose. I will say that I like the weight of them because they're not that heavy but they're still thick enough to keep your hands warm, and there they have grip on the palms that make them great for driving, and suitable for doing light work outside in the winter. They don't work on iphone touchscreen very well unfortunately, maybe only 10-20% of the time. I had (and lost) another pair of texting gloves that did work well, but they were slippery.
