Quality and price 💯
Great caliper for the price! Stainless steel build feels solid, LCD is easy to read, and switching units is super convenient. Accuracy is spot on. Comes with extra batteries and a case too

Nice for the price
Seems to work fine and quality is comparable to similar units in this price range. I specifically purchased this model as my other two similar units use an A76 button battery and if I don’t remove the battery after usage the units are dead for the next use. Supposedly the units that run on the 2032 battery’s don’t have that battery drainage issue so we will see? This unit you have to remove the back and they include a small screwdriver to replace the (2) batteries. They give you and extra set also! I don’t mind this as most of the calipers that use the A76 bottom battery you remove the cover on the front and the cover is thin and cheesy! A few times the cover popped off and I had to scramble to find it when replacing battery on my OTHER calipers. Don’t have to worry about that now with this unit! Negatives: storage case is thin and cheap compared to my other two similar calipers. I have a feeling after a dozen times of opening the rear hinge will snap off! 2) I don’t like the way the inches are displayed on the top of the unit. Small and at first glance I thought this was a metric only caliper! It’s not. No big deal I suppose as you’re not really looking at the ruler taking measurements but something I thought was worth mentioning.

Kynup Digital Caliper Measuring Tool
Item is as advertised. The all-metal caliper is very well constructed and robust. The LCD readout is large and easy to read. I find that the accuracy is excellent and the rolling wheel has a very smooth feel. The resolution is definitive and stable, not jittery or indecisive. It comes with a nice plastic protective case and two button cell batteries. This is one of the better digital micrometers that I have used. Excellent.

Works well; battery compartment is fiddly.
Good calipers; I'm docking them a star for requiring two fiddly screws for replacing the battery rather than the simple friction-fit that some other calipers use.

what i needed
The Kynup Digital Caliper is a very useful measuring tool for DIY projects, woodworking, home repairs, and general shop use. I wanted something more accurate and easier to read than a traditional ruler or manual caliper, and this digital version has been a convenient upgrade. The first thing I noticed was how easy the LCD display is to read. Being able to quickly see measurements without trying to interpret small markings makes a big difference, especially when working with smaller parts or needing more precise measurements. The screen is clear and the numbers are easy to see in normal lighting. The inch and millimeter conversion feature is another great addition. I frequently work with measurements from different sources, so being able to switch between units with the push of a button saves time and prevents having to manually convert measurements. The caliper feels lightweight but still sturdy enough for regular household and hobby use. The sliding mechanism moves smoothly, and the jaws open and close easily without feeling loose. It works well for measuring inside dimensions, outside dimensions, depths, and step measurements, making it a versatile tool to keep in a toolbox. I also appreciate the auto-off feature, which helps preserve battery life. It's easy to forget to turn off digital tools after using them, so having the caliper shut down automatically is a nice convenience. Accuracy has been good for my needs. For measuring bolts, hardware, materials, and small projects around the house, it provides consistent readings and is much faster than using a standard measuring tool. It is a great option for hobbyists who need better precision without investing in an expensive professional-grade instrument. The main reason I am giving it four stars instead of five is that while it performs very well for general use, it does not feel quite as heavy-duty or precision-machined as higher-end calipers. For professional machining environments where extremely tight tolerances are required, a more premium tool may be a better choice. However, for home projects, crafting, automotive work, and everyday measurements, it performs very well. Overall, the Kynup Digital Caliper is a reliable and convenient measuring tool that offers excellent functionality for the price. The easy-to-read display, unit conversion, smooth operation, and auto-off feature make it a great addition to any toolbox or workshop. It provides the accuracy most DIY users need without the cost of professional equipment.

Seems accurate and simple to use.
I used it for the first time to measure diameter of wire to determine it's gauge. Seems to be accurate or close to what the NEC says the diameter of wire should be. It will be handy when verifying wire that the marking no longer is visible. I wish I had bought it a couple years ago. Simple to use and zero out.

Accurate, high-end (mostly) feel, 100% functionality. Measures both inside and outside dimensions.
This is a one of those items you find a need for and don't know what to really trust. Junk rules supreme across the 'zon scape. Worry not. I was once in your shoes. This device is solid, feels really machined (doubt it it is but it has a solid heft and feel. I can always measure a cheap display from a good one by tapping it. Hollow sound, not so good. This one: solid. The measurements are accurate and you can switch between units easily. You also have a stop functionality for presets. Fantastic unit for the price. Highlyy recommend. Going to get a lot of use out of this.

Amazing at this pricepoint
The battery contacts of my previous (6", run-of-the-mill, black plastic, red-green-blue buttons, LR44 battery) digital calipers were heavily corroded which made them work erratically. This breaks the entire tool, as the analog scale of these digital calipers is unusable. So I set out for a new pair of calipers. My use is in electronics and PCB design, to measure component pitch, PCB sizes and the like. So no need for high, multi-decimal precision, but a mm / inch conversion is nice to have. And 200mm / 8" comes in handy every now and then when measuring larger enclosures. Initially I was looking for a pair of calipers from an 'A' brand, but for my use their prices, especially for the 200mm ones with some IP protection, were just too high. So I searched some more and stumbled on these Kynup calipers. It promises IP54, which made me think the battery terminals might fare better than these in my previous pair. It shows mm and inches, and fractions as well. And it is 200mm / 8" long. In short, it ticked all my boxes for €40.-, so I ordered a pair. Amazon got them to me in 2 days and I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised. Apart from looking and performing exactly as advertised they also have some extra features I like: - They are completely made out of metal. Buttons, battery door, everything but the display window. - The battery door has an o-ring for protection against fluids. - They have auto-off. That feature will save me a lot of batteries. - Even more nice, they have auto-on. Just move the jaw to measure something will switch them on. - They run on CR2032, which I have more of lying around than the smaller batteries used in other offerings. I read some reviews where people complained that the decimals are smaller which makes them harder to read; that is indeed the case, on the other hand the fact that these decimals are separated by their size makes measurements easier to interpret, at least for me. The tool is a little 'coarse' to the feel; corners and sides are a bit sharper than with my 'A' brand non-digital calipers. This however is no big deal. You ain't going to cut yourselves on them :-) All in all I find them a lot better than the non 'A' brand digital calipers they replaced and at less then half the money. Obviously I cannot say anything yet about battery life or the tool's longevity, but if the electronics do not fail I have good hopes these calipers will last into my retirement.

Excellent calipers for a good price
I always used cheap calipers that cost 15-20 euros and all had the same problems: they don't return to zero, so you have to zero it every time you take a measurement, they eat up the battery very quickly and they die after one year or so. I wanted something better and I came across the Kynup that had good reviews and I liked the large display. When I received it and opened the box I was pleasantly surprised - this calipers is heavy and build very well. It uses CR2032 batteries, so it should last for a long time. The machining on the jaws are perfect and you can't see any light shines through the Jaws when they are closed. The micro adjust wheel is very stiff and allow very small changes, unlike the cheap ones. The display is large and clear and has 1/100 of a millimeter resolution, and best of all - it always return to zero!

Very well made and accurate
I wanted a replacement for my old vernier calipers as I'm getting old and its difficult to see the scale so I thought I would give these digital ones a try. So pleased I did as not only are they very accurate, the display is very easy to read. To check the accuratey I got my trusty feeler gauge out and, after checking some of the gauges with both my old vernier calipers as well as my micrometer to verify the sizes were correct I gave these new ones a try. And they were bang on.. well within their stated tolerances. See my video showing the 0.28mm gauge. It was difficult to film one handed but you can see this new digital vernier caliper measured it correctly. (I did test more but did not film and it was accurate on all of them) They are very well made and feel substantial in the hand. Come if a protective plastic case with a couple of spare batteries. Even has a conversion scale on thr back of them. All in all.. a very precise tool for relatively little money. Very happy with them.
