Boum Serpent Quartz Genuine Leather Watch with Date

This is fun fashion wstch. Encircled by crystals and with crystal markers the face features three subdials. One has the day, one the date and the last military(24 hour) time. The leather bad is comfortable. It has an easy to use buckle and should accommodate most wrists. Simple to set up it comes in a branded box with a retro vibe. I received the lavender version and it is very pretty.

I'll be the first to admit that I don't know the first thing about watches, in a technical sense. I don't know what things to look for that make one watch better than another, especially in traditionally men's watches.I got this watch as a gift for my husband as his watch had finally died after over a decade. He's a watch snob, so I was looking for something nice-looking, with some heft to it physically, that I thought he would like. He's very particular about the feel of the band on his wrist, for example.He liked this watch. He ended up getting a smart watch down the line, so this one isn't used nearly as much. However, the band didn't pinch and didn't feel constricting. The watch itself had some weight and felt well-made (which were some of the most important parts to him). It didn't feel cheap or cheaply-produced. The time and information was accurate as far as I could tell. The black watchface with the silver band and bezel is a nice look: very minimalistic and classic.Overall, great gift for someone who's picky about watches in maybe some of the same ways my husband is. This watch got some good use before the smart watch came along. It's comfortable. Recommended!

One of the subdials fell off and didn't really seem to control anything on the watch face. It keeps time well and the band is comfortable.

Never wonder time~month~date~day of the week again! When you're not working you lose track of all four. Or at least I do! But this is NOT a HEA review. This watch has a certain heft to it. That I could get use to it eventually. It ticks, I hate the ticking of a clock. It might be ok if only wore it at work, lot of noise. Next the leather is stiff you can see the hand in the picture. I'm a watch nut. Have been for most of my life. The bigger the better. However, this is more of a feminine style, so keep that in mind.I got this for my wife and she says the band is either too tight, or too loose. Sort of an issue I've dealt with all my life. I see people with watches that hang from their wrists like a bracelet and cannot fathom doing that myself. I like a snug fit and if it's too loose I won't wear the watch, and if it's too tight well, it's simply uncomfortable even more so. Considering everyone's wrist is a little different, don't be surprised if yours fits perfectly for YOU.The watch LOOKS good, but the band, while leather is certainly not the most expensive leather you'll find...I'll just say that and move on.If I'm being totally honest, it looks more like something a teen would wear during the 80's/early 90's. I don't think it would jazz up a nice outfit these days, but to each their own, right?

Everyone that follows me, knows I am a fan of Accessories! The truth is, an outfit is what it is because of how you accessorize it! This will be a great addition to my watch collection! It is unique, works perfectly and even fits my tiny wrist. Highly recommend to all.xoxo Haley

Although the Boum Serpent Women's Quartz Genuine Leather Watch is lightweight on my wrist, I have a few issues wearing it.1. It doesn't fit properly. The watch is loose on my wrist. If I buckle the clasp tighter, it's too tight. I am left with only option of wearing the watch further up my wrist.2. The buckle clasp feels very irritating on my wrist. This nuisance is something I can live with, but it's still irritating.As far as looks go, the watch is a hot pink knockout and very attractive. The watch face is nice and big for my aging eyes, but I cannot read the date dials, because they are tiny.In addition, although the watch is genuine leather, the low quality band feels like plastic and I am not confident in it's longevity factor.Overall, though, for the price, it's a decent watch.Thank you for taking the time to read my review, and if you find it Helpful, please click the “Helpful” button below. This is sort of cheap-looking. I feel like the strap is a fail. It looks tacky and doesn't complement the watch well. Comes in a nice gifting box.
