Throughout the years I have tried other liners from time to time. Nothing compares to this little beauty, including high end, exorbitantly priced liners. This liner applies as well as you want it to. I find the pen to be precise. If you like thin lines, this is the liner for you. If you like thick lines, this is the liner for you. It dries fairly quickly. I don’t use liner on the waterline so I can’t say how well it works there. I can tell you that once I apply it in the morning it stays on all day. I have very sensitive eyes to cosmetics & this is one of the only liners I can use that doesn’t irritate my eyes. However, as with any cosmetic, I would recommend a skin test. I was drawn to the e.l.f. brand because it is cruelty free. It’s been double certified as cruelty free by PETA & Leaping Bunny. In the make up industry that is impressive. I will say that it’s more water resistant than waterproof.
