Very flexible, has a thicker wall than much of the 1/2" piping, It is a bit more difficult to install barbed products but they end up fitting nice and tight. Very pleased with it

First off—this is not your squishy, collapse-when-you-look-at-it tubing. The HydroMaxx PVC line is firm but flexible, and perfect for any setup where you're moving water, air, or nutrients—and need it to keep flowing without fighting back. I’ve used this stuff in: Hydroponic systems (main lines & feed loops) Aquarium water changes Outdoor irrigation routing Even custom PC coolant overflow mods (don’t judge—it worked) It’s kink-resistant, easy to cut (razor blade or tubing cutter), and has just enough bend to navigate corners without stressing fittings. Plus, it holds tight on barbs without clamps, but clamps well if you're running pressure.

I like it because it is long black and adsorbs heat from sunlight. I would like it a tad better if it were mat black rather than having a shiny reflective surface--I doubt that that would make that much of a difference in delivering hot water to my pool. It's just that if one is making something one might as well make it as scientifically effective as possible. I suppose I could remove the heat reflecting shine with a sander but I am not that obsessive. Nor really am I up to doing a comparative test of the heat absorbing power between shiny and mat. On second thoughts, may be I will buy another roll, sand its off and measure the difference. Is there anyone who knows about this sort of thing who might save me the trouble--otherwise I am going to obsessively think about it. Please please I beg you LOL.

The product is probably defective. I received it and installed it today, but the tubing split as soon as I turned on the water supply. 😞

Before Tariffs, these were 33$. Today it has nearly doubled in price to 52$ on May 15, 2025. Other than that, it's a fantastic flexible product for low PSI. I'm running water through a 1/6 HP (25gph) sump pump through this 600 ft coiled in a low profile wood encasing with acrylic transparent so sun hits these all day on this as a solar pool heater and it's raised temps up in pool by 5-6 degrees. It does kink easily, but my usage the tube's are fastened with zip ties so I don't get bursts like others are reporting.

Very thick tubing of high quality. It fits very tight on 1/2" barbed connectors without the need for hose clamps. This tubing is a lot thicker than what they sell at the big box stores. This means it is a little less flexible but it does not kink easy. Even on a sharp bend it still stays open allowing water to flow. I recommend getting a heat gun if you are going to be installing a lot of connectors at it will make installation a lot easier.

The water coming through the tubing stunk for weeks. Tried flushing with sodium bicarb, still stank.

Very good 3/8 OD tubing for the garden. I use it to connect the soaker elements. You can use the 'push' connectors for this hose.
