I have to admit that I love these. I've had mine now a couple of weeks and I am having a hard time resisting adding a different color to my hair each day. I have very dark hair that normally requires bleaching to color, and my hair isn't currently bleached. These colors show up nicely. They are bright but not electric (except in the sunlight). The website says they are cruelty-free, too, so yay for fun guilt-free colors!I will admit that it took me a couple of tries to get this to work, especially in my daughter's long hair. My inclination was to read the instructions and then lather this on and brush it out, but that didn't work out at all. So I want to advise, because I see there are some negative reviews where people are having the same problems that I had at first, but I was able to find ways to make it work without being thick, sticky, waxy, or caked on.First, although the instructions say to apply to wet hair, I have had a lot better luck applying this dry.Second, it says to start at the roots and work toward the ends. This is what I do with my short hair, but with long hair, I found applying at the ends and slowly moving up to work best. I work with small chunks at a time, and put the rest of the hair up in a clip so that it doesn't get in the way.Third, it says to put a dime-size on the palm of your hand, rub it in to your hands, and then apply. YOU REALLY WANT TO USE THIS LITTLE (or at quarter-size at the very most, but a thin quarter, not a thick one). It may seem, especially if you have dark hair, that the color is far to light when you apply such a small amount, but the best way to get a nice rich color is not to cake it on but to create layers. Put a little bit on, then a little more, then a little more, etc. Yes, it takes longer, but you'll actually get soft colored hair instead of waxy caked hair.You also need a brush with the bristles pretty close together. I have been using my daughter's detangler brush (http://a.co/4qBZvQz) and it works great! My hair is not as soft as normal, but it feels like I have a little bit of hairspray in it, not like it's full of gel or wax.I hope this helps you use this product. Now, there are a couple of cons. The first one is that this stuff smells like men's cologne. It's not an unpleasant smell, but it's not subtle. Since I bought this hair wax for myself and my daughter, the smell overrides the more subtle fragrances we wear. I wish the smell was less overbearing and less masculine.The second issue is that the "red" color is really more of a magenta. For us it's not really a big deal. My daughter likes the "pink" color, although I had been hoping for the flame red that appears in the pictures. This is something you should know before buying the pack, just because it isn't as pictured.Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase. I'm having a great time with these colors, and I will absolutely buy these again. What a nifty product!

I love this product!! It shows very pigmented on my hair. I didn’t have to use the whole gar. Day 2 I started misting water on it to refreshen my curls. I use only a little water & my hand to stretch out my curls.

Great colors. Lasts all day. Washed out in minutes. I started making custom colors combining the colors in a bowl. A little goes a long way. My beard is white so it shows really well. Darker colored hair might take more. Containers are very small, but for me one container would last at least a month of daily application.

So it came a day late... once it arrived decided to use it... The green isn't my favorite color of the pack so decided to play with that 1 first... When I say easy application... it was too easy... about a quarter size amount rubbed on hands until smoth and evenly applied to hair... did this about 3 times until I was satisfied with color... and washing off hands was as easy as squirting antibacterial soap on hands and washing away. No mess. even touched a door handle after completion of applying and before washing hands and it didn't transfer. Laid on a gray pillow later and it didn't transfer... however, if you scratch your head it'll get on your finger a little. So far pleased with purchase. I have short soft curly hair and application was easy... hope the other colors don't disappoint.

Very cool stuff!I'm giving the bright colors to my nieces now that I've played a bit. I'm keeping the silver.It colors well, behaves just like my usual styling wax, didn't come off on my clothes and washed right out when I wanted it gone.

Okay recommend this for guys/boys. My nephew loves it. This is more for short hair than long hair. It's just like pomade, if you try to to comb it it will make it frizzy and thick and not that great. Overall it stays it didn't rub off on clothes that easily, unless you're rubbing your head aggressively on the sheets and clothes. This leaves your hair thick and funky. Like I said it's suited more for short hair and probably for a strip of color here and there. The color is amazing though.

I enjoy these but at the same time I hate these. I loved the option of having color when I wanted it without the commitment. But wow is it a sticky wax! Me and my daughter have longer hair and it is a hassle! Would recommend for short haired people. Overall color shows great though. Just got to enjoy stiff sticky hair all day that's all.

We just got it today and used it once. We love th color strength. My hands washed very easily and so far my son’s hair hasn’t transferred color onto anything else.
