At the risk of being dramatic I am going to just say it - THIS IS THE BEST COMFORTER I HAVE EVER HAD. It is so soft and luxe feeling and only gets better as you wash it. I recently upgraded our bed to a King and had to get a new King-sized comforter for it. I did not know where I got the one I was using (that I loved) so I made the mistake of buying a down comforter based on a tiktok recommendation thinking they were all the same. That one was SO LOUD! Every time I would move it would make this loud plastic crinkle noise. Finally at 3 am I got up in a fit of rage and went and got our old duvet, dragged it out of it's cover and looked around every single edge until I found the tag. It was LINENSPA! I located it on Amazon and purchased it right away for a quarter of the price of the noisy one. I have been using it ever since. It is the perfect blanket. It is warm but not heavy, not too hot, silent and so soft. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF THINKING ALL COMFORTERS ARE THE SAME! I will never be without this one again.

This is my 2nd Linen Spa Duvet Insert. The first was Queen for my Son, the 2nd is for my new King bed in the Oversized King size. On my first purchase, the first observations I made were how light and soft this insert is. I slept in my Son's bed when he went out of town and I noticed how it was the perfect weight and still kept me cozy and warm as it was winter when I tried it. For my bed, we're moving into very warm weather and I've noticed how the insert doesn't make me get hot and sweaty and it keeps me absolutely comfortable. We do sleep with the AC on so I don't know how it would make me feel if the AC were off. I am guessing maybe not too uncomfortable because it isnt bulky and weighty like. My blankets are well made and the stitching has not come undone anywhere. The alternative fill has not bunched up and has remained just as it was when I bought it with washing it once every 2 weeks. *However*, It is VERY difficult to find a duvet cover that will fit it. I tried to put a standard sized king duvet cover over it, BUT it did bunch it up quite a bit. Linen Spa, does your company plan to create duvet covers specially made to fit all of your inserts? I have also seen that the inserts have several loops with which to anchor the insert to the duvet covers to keep the insert from sliding around inside the duvet. Most duvet brands only have 4-6. It would be very nice for your company to make duvet covers that are specially made for your duvet inserts with as many tie loops as your inserts for maximum performance and results. I keep wishing, hoping and praying for this to happen. No more frustrating shopping to try to find a duvet cover that doesn't fit as well. Just a one stop shop for the one that fits your product exactly and perfectly. Thank you for this duvet insert. It is of very good quality and value.

Update on laundering: I now own three Linenspa comforters and I took two of them to the Laundromat. I washed one in the best comforter machine they had at $8.50. I washed it as detailed below. As I watched it barely moved. This was an amazing machine. Delicate means delicate! It came out perfectly. Like new. Follow the manufacturers instructions. Unfortunately I washed the second comforter in a newer machine next to the $8.50 machine. It was $7.00 and had all the same settings but my second comforter was thrashing around in there for the entire 40 minutes…even on the delicate-cold setting. It is certainly clean but slightly lumpy. I should have used the best machine. The standard huge dryers worked fine on low heat. I suggest that you open up the Queen or king once or twice so that it dries inside. So it’s been a year and I had to reorder this cloud soft warm soft comforter again for a Christmas treat. So no reason other than I had to have another one…As I had hoped, the previous purchased comforter and reviewed below (2/22) is holding up beautifully and I plan to wash it soon in the $8 comforter machine at the laundromat…that machine is huge, has no agitator, and is especially for large items like this. Wash on “delicate-cold water”. Their dryers are huge and they all have cool delicate settings. I use Method Free and Clear laundry detergent. The new comforter is lovely but quite a bit thinner than my original one. I notice that many reviewers complained that the comforters are too thick and too warm. Not for me. I am hoping that Linenspa offers a thick comforter like my original one to those folks in frigid climates and also to older folk who are just plain cold or to people who cannot afford to turn on the heat at night. My house temp at night is often 55. No heat. And the last two summers have been unseasonably frigid in CA. Other than that one “suggestion” as you can see in my photo, the new comforter is on top and quite lovely with beautiful workmanship …though wrinkled….with my fluffy one is under it. It is not warm enough to replace my old one but I’m so glad I have it. Linenspa deserves another five star review! Old review continues here I have been looking for a new comforter for my bed for someone time now. It occurred to me that I owned a very nice microfiber comforter in my guestroom. It was made by linenspa. I looked at Amazon and they had the same comforter! I ordered the white and gray striped queen size for my bed. It arrived vacuum packed. I open the bag and threw it on the bed and that’s what you see in the pictures: no wrinkles whatsoever, fluffy soft and flawless & reversible. I might buy one more. I might buy two more, this is an amazing product. The manufacturer suggests washing it once every three years… well the one in my guest room hasn’t been washed in three years and it’s immaculate. I’ve been showing this picture to my friends and they’ve been guessing $300 and when I say no $39, they immediately order it Comes in several reversible colors with finished edges. I would never put a duvet over this. It’s stunning as is! It’s quite warm, but not too warm for our frigid 37° evenings with no heat on in my house I might even need a 2nd one, which is a great excuse to order another one. This comforter is light but still keeps me warm, which makes it perfect for year-round use. It’s soft, not noisy, and doesn’t feel bulky at all. The box stitching helps it stay evenly filled, and the corner tabs are really handy when using it as a duvet insert. If you don’t like real down or want something easy and low-maintenance, this is a solid choice. It’s comfortable, does the job well, and feels like good value for the price.

Hey everyone, Mike Jones here again with another quick and concise Amazon review. So up today we have the LINENSPA Reversible Down Alternative Quilted. I bought this item to go with a brand new 12" foam matress I purchased and I absolutely LOVE these sheets. They fit my queen bed perfectly, not too big that they sag over the edge but not so small that I cannot tuck the sides into my bed frame. The colors you see in the images are true to form and I love that the comforter is reversible. Both sides are a shade of gray, but it is nice being able to change it from a dark to a light gray whenever you want. The sheet is plush and warm but not very heavy which I like. It does hold heat in incredibly well and all I use is this comforter and a thin top sheet in the middle of winter and it is plenty warm. Sometimes I lay on top of the comforter because it is so soft but can still keep me warm. The only caveat to my love of this item is that it does seem to wrinkle easily. This is not a big deal but it is not as "wrinkle-free" as they would like you to believe. After I make my bed I spray a little 50/50 mix of Febreze and water and pull it tight and it does take out some of the wrinkles, but again, not a big deal at all. Overall, this item is amazing and because the price is so low I am giving it 5 stars. I would expect an item like this to cost upwards of $100. The pros: Soft, warm, reversible, nice pattern. This comforter really is, especially for the price, one of the best items on Amazon. The cons: The comforter is thin which some people don't like. I also have only had this for a few months so the longevity of the item is not determinable at this moment. I do have some reservations that it will last a long time, but at this price I can easily buy another one. The overall: This product hits a home run! We love this duvet. It is soft and fluffy. and so light. It looks like it would be really heavy, even in the picture. Wow my eyes don't always tell the truth. This is no heavier than a regular all season comforter. But it is huge. Let me start over. When this package first arrived we had no guess that it was the duvet we thought it was the sheet set we had ordered at the same time. The package seems small but okay the other box was larger and considerably heavier. We still didn't think that it was the duvet. The other package was the sheet set and duvet cover. So we opened the smaller box thinking it was yet a different product we had ordered. then once we opened it we thought we had ordered the wrong thing. the packaging said it was a duvet. "OMG this sure isn't true to the picture!' My husband took it from me and said don't worry i got this. He took the packages and disappeared. i forgot all about it until the end of the night, when we were ready to call it a night. There was a HUGE new cover on my bed. then of course there is a little back and forth for a few minutes then I shut up long enough to hear him say that the duvet was vacuum packed. Boy did we get a laugh out of that. It is big and fluffy. It is light but warm. It's not hot just cozy. It has been 108 with the heat index for several weeks even the best of ACs will have an issue keeping up with it. So the house will go back and forth from hot to cold and back again. This duvet never became uncomfortable. I spend most nights kicking covers off and then pulling them on again. summer is a tough time for me to sleep. I cannot believe that no one ever thinks to market a blanket to make you feel more rested in the mornings. Of course I have to know if this thing is going to hold up. So after the hubby leaves for work i take the cover off and look at it closely. The stitchwork is all even and taut. I didn't find any dropped stitches or frays. The corners are immaculate. The fabric is a quality tight weave. It feels like down but it doesn't have the quills that you find in down. Definitely, a valued purchase.

It's the perfect comforter! I like to sleep in a very cool room at night, about 62°, even in winter. I usually need 2 blankets & sometimes a 3rd but I love feeling snuggled in. I will be having ankle surgery very soon so having a lot of heavy blankets would be cumbersome. I will have a boot that comes up to my calf & my leg will be elevated as close to 90° as I can get it. So, I wanted something lighter than my blankets because I can't cover my foot. When my comforter arrived I was thinking it was too thin. I loved the look and feel, but I didn't think it would be warm enough without the other blankets. Boy, was I wrong! I put it on the bed (I also don't use a top sheet so it's just the comforter) and decided to not put anything else on top so I could get a real feel for it. I slept so well I was shocked. I even have hot flashes & at times would have to throw all my blankets off, only to put them back on & rearrange them. Not so with the comforter. It kept me warm all night. And when I got hot, just putting my arms out was enough. I don't know how it does it, but this comforter regulates my constantly changing body temp & I sleep so much better with less restlessness. This will be perfect for after surgery because it's so light it will accommodate my boot & pillows & I won't need any other blankets to chase & rearrange, especially since I'll be in bed for a while. And it's so lightweight the rest of me will still be able to be covered & comfy all night. I might buy another so I'll have one when this one needs replaced, which won't be for a long time. I'm VERY pleased with my purchase. It even arrived a day early!

I’m struggling to sleep due to getting too hot, post menopause, and I toss the covers on and off all night. I took a chance and bought this comforter because it was on a list of best cooling comforters, a lot of positive reviews, and because of its low-risk low price. I thought I would start there before investing hundreds of dollars on a comforter in the same Best Cooling Comforters list. First, the positives. This is a wonderful fluffy, soft, cloud-like comforter. It has multiple two-tone color options. It also has eight duvet cover loops. It is so snuggly comfortable. Those checked a lot of my boxes for features I was looking for. If that is what you are looking for, I highly recommend this comforter. If that is all you are looking for, I could give it four or five stars. However, now the reason for my lower rating, my purpose for the search and purchase was for a comforter that did not make me hot. I hoped that it would be sufficient because of mostly positive reviews that it was lightweight. From the very first night in using this, I was waking up with night sweats, completely drenched some nights. I hadn’t been having those for a while with my previous regular comforter. I gave this a good trial for couple of months because it’s wonderful otherwise. This morning, I ripped it off my bed and will be selling it in next week’s garage sale. I ordered the REST cooling comforter that will arrive tomorrow. If you are searching for a comforter with cooling technology because you can’t sleep at night, this Linenspa is not the comforter for you. There were other reviews that stated this, but I wanted to give it a chance. I’m only giving this a lower three-star rating because it keeps appearing in searches to be an economical best solution for cooling comforters. I want those searching for a cooling comforter to realize this is not for them and I hope to save them from wasting time on this one. I just lost two or three months giving this one a chance.
