OTO-Ease Ear and Hearing Aid Insertion Lubricant 0.5 Ounce

I've tried KY (warming gel), Astroglide, and other 'personal lubes' in effort to save some money and get more 'bang' for my bucks, but in the end, I winded up purchasing this brand anyhow. Long story short, I found that it does in fact provide a better seal. The difference was night and day actually. I placed a couple drops on 'the bend' (being careful to not block the hole), and the moment I placed my CIEMs in my ear, I got an instant suction and vacuum seal. The reality is, my CIEMs are pretty much a perfect fit (as they should be), however, I wear them for up to (and sometimes over) 10 hours/day. With that much use, and taking into consideration the fact I clean my ears daily, I need a lil 'lube' to keep my ears comfy. This lube is just the right consistency to not only make my CIEMs a lil more comfortable, but it also does noticeably better the seal of what was already a good seal (so I thought). So, if you wear your CIEMs (or hearing aid/device) for extended periods, this lube will def help to keep things nice and comfortable for hours. And since you only need a couple of drops, the bottle -- although not more than 1 oz -- should last you a long while. Also, if you want to avoid contaminating the lube, I suggest keeping some alcohol wipes (or gel) nearby to clean both the bottle and your CIEMs after using them. Otherwise, I recommend this fully.

This is amazing for these aggravating ear inserts. Any slight rub can cause extreme pain and discomfort. Sanding and polishing helps but is still not comfortable. I don’t understand HOW it works but it is a perfect fix for this problem. It is thick and takes very little for a slick insert and perfect comfort for all day!! Seems to prevent buildup on ear piece also. May take a little practice to get out the small drop needed, BUT, IT IS NO BIG DEAL for the comfort given. Some people complain about free gold not being shiny enough!! Try it!! Within several days all pain will cease!! THATS WHAT COUNTS!!!!

We ordered this product to assist with the insertion of my child’s formed ear plugs from the audiologist. This product works great and is super helpful to get the form fitted ear plugs into place easily. We use this product for insertion of these plugs for bath time as well as for swimming, a little goes a long way, and it will last a while for one bottle, more than a year. Highly recommend to help get those fitted plugs in to place.

I live in a house with thin walls, and roommates that are seemingly ignorant of that fact and themselves have no sense of volume. As such I have to sleep with earplugs in on many nights. Silicone and wax earplugs are comfortable to wear, but for me, even with a perfect seal, those types of earplugs let too much noise through to be effective. Soft foam earplugs provide the silence I need, but start to burn and itch after a while, inevitably waking me up. Enter Oto-Ease! This stuff is amazing and has transformed foam earplugs into all-nighters for me. A small drop makes them insert easily and fully, with a good seal, and stops them from bothering me at all during the night by giving them a bit of "give" instead of getting stuck to my skin. It's waterbased so it will just dry up on exposed surfaces and it cleans easily, unlike wax or silicone which leaves residue on everything.

I really like it; it has helped me in a very bad situation. My right hearing aid, for some reason, is very difficult to put in. I made visits to my audiologists; thank goodness he gave me some samples of this to see if it would do the job. It took a while to really figure out exactly how to use it correctly, but now things seem to be okay. I thank you for a very good product that I am very glad my doctor told me about.

Use sparingly don't allow to enter the speaker unit chamber when applying. Best use for pre firmed ear plugs

This lube works perfect my hearing aid bud slid right in my ear without a lot hassle like I had without it will buy again

The product as shown has an orange cap and as received had a black cap. There is a major difference as the orange capped container is a thinner plastic making it easy to squeeze out a drop of the product. As delivered the container with the black top is made out of a much thicker plastic making it near impossible for someone without a really strong grip to squeeze out a drop. My wife could not do it. I am not exaggerating when I say you would need a pliers to squeeze the container. DO NOT buy from this seller. Find another source.
